How do you think first worlds became first worlds? It is because of a constant dissatisfaction and drive to improve and to obtain ever greater comfort and convenience that first worlds became first worlds in the first place. This is how humanity advance. Complacency and a culture of shaming those who want something better hinder progress and cause second and third worlds remain where they are. Don't be complicit. Being able to go all over the internet and sneering "first world problems" is itself often a first world privilege. Don't be a hypocrite. OP is a paying customer. It's not like he stole the phone or received it from Apple for free. He has a right to complain.
true, but come on🤣

What I want to know is the people every year that notice these minor imperfections on their phones, what do they do about their cars? I imagine there are far more minor flaws on cars and they cost far more than an iPhone, are people just returning their cars?
Bad analogy. A car panel can be repainted, a plastic piece easily replaced. Not true with these glued contraptions

I will never forget when I was working in a store and someone came in with a new phone and had a cosmetic blemish. The employees didn't have to say a word. There was a mom there with her daughter waiting on the daughter's new phone to load up. The mom asked to see the phone and commenced the shaming.
The kids mom came in and heard the shaming.
His mom asked to look at the phone then commenced her own shaming.
It was a beautiful thing.

If the blemish bothers you that much return it. It will make a nice refurb for someone

I had a customer that had what looked like to be a rub make on the frame. He was kind enough to remove it from the case to show me. So there are those people

I think I’m going to be sick to my stomach. We’re living in a time of massive economic inequality, climate emergency, severe lack of sustainability and somebody is going to press the supply chain over a micrometer-sized dot on their smart device?? Please tell me this is some parody so that I can sleep a little less anxiously tonight. How much carbon is going to be wasted due to this non issue? This is the height of excess and waste and I am supremely sympathetic to some impoverished worker in a developing nation who would absolutely love to have such a wonderful device. Shame OP, shame on you.

It’s an enthusiast forum. The post is appropriate. Yours is not.

Ignore user.
