I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of AppleCare but appreciate it seems popular on this forum.

My engraved 12.9 M1 iPP arrived with a small dent near the bottom right corner out of the box. Unacceptable for a premium product at such a premium price. Returned and a replacement is on the way.

It’s so disappointing to see these defects still happening, especially with such expensive devices like the iPad Pros. I had to exchange several 2020 11-inch models last year due to various screen/physical defects out of the box and it seems like not much has changed with the quality of the M1 iPPs upon arrival. I get that these devices are mass produced, but a multi trillion dollar company should be able to invest in proper and adequate QC. Makes you wonder if they even inspect returned products for possible reasons why they were sent back.
