Personally, I'm pretty happy with the update so far. I like having the most-recent library additions in the top ribbon above the menus. Quick access when a new episode from a season pass has been added. The biggest plus for 3.0 is that it seems to have fixed the auto-sync of new library content when streaming from my iTunes library. Before, I'd have to initiate a manual sync for new TV/movies to show up in the library listing on the AppleTV -- so far it has been working as it originally did way back in the 1.0/2.0 days.

As others have mentioned I'm pretty happy with the new update for the time being. I really like the new UI, but I too wish it was more consistent throughout the different menus, similar to Plex.

On the downside, it seems slower to me. Whenever I try to switch between menus (TV Shows to Movies, Music, etc.) I experience a 5-10 second delay. After the initial delay the AppleTV becomes very responsive, but I hate waiting for it to play catchup every time. The only other problem I've noticed is how much longer it takes to load my shared libraries. Loading my libraries takes 2-3 times longer than it did before the update. Hopefully 3.0.1 or whatever isn't too far away.

I'm pleased with the update. It has resolved some delays and sync issues that were driving me to sell the ATV.

I love the upgrade, but do miss the visual scrolling effects. Love the internet radio!!!

Liking this update - local music search at last!! Also like the tighter iPhoto integration and the internet radio without the need for an itunes playlist as was needed to use the radio previously. Also like the fact that if you are listening to music it continues to play when you start viewing photos.

Ver 3 pauses much better while watching movies

Pausing in the past has been a challenge to get the movies playing again

Overall, we are enjoying the 3.0 update

This update fixed a problem I was having with random pixels scattered across the screen. Video looked like it had sprinkles on it, and I was inches away from putting the thing on eBay, but that's all gone now, so good!

Put me down for happy.
