I have both, both are made for the G1 MBAs *but* fit the newer MBAs just fine. I actually like the older G1 (label under the open seam), as it is a little softer so easier to maneuver when getting the MBA in & out.

I have the zipper version of this (or something similar from InCase). Very pleased with it. The zippers don't touch the MBA and it offers enough protection.
