Got my replacement and the sleep/wake works! Nice to have an additional feature that was missing before. The tab may still end up being a deal breaker, but it depends on how it performs longterm. I may actually end up keeping this case. I'm pleased that Incipio came through for us!

That's great to hear, awaiting for mine to arrive. How did you get yours so fast? They shipped mine First Class and USPS states it's still in CA.

Their website says that the Grey/Black Lexington cases are now shipping. I wonder if these are shipping with corrected magnets?

Well, they seem to have it, but there is no shipping estimate there =/

Edit: Whoops, I'm assuming you mean Amazon themselves (so it will be Prime eligible)

Ya. I preordered through them when they had it for $23, but then they took their listing down. It says it won't arrive later than the 26th.

Got email on Thursday (April 12) received replacement on Saturday (April 14th)

Magnets are working!!!

::edit::
The main issue now seems to be that when you fold the cover back, it triggers the auto-off feature. Seems that is an issue with most of these cases but there are some cases where that doesn't happen

Really? If it has the triggering issue I might just cancel my order. This is so irritating. It has been nothing but a waiting game. Might go for the Speck FitFolio in Black.

Yes although I will say that I hardly hold the iPad in such a way where it might trigger it because holding that way the cover tends to slip and slide. I usually fold it within itself. Someone posted a picture on best way to hold it on another thread

HOWEVER, I still think its an issue because if you just so happen to trigger it on accident even once and especially while you are doing something important (ie a presentation) then it is totally understandable to strip the case of the iPad and burn it out of anger.

I just don't trust it. It will stay on but I do have to remind myself if I am ever doing something important to take the case off so there is no way it will turn off by accident.

Phew! Just got my equivalent e-mail today! I was worried they forgot about me!

Today I left a message to their live chat room as nobody was available. For past weeks I sent them two email about the replacement but no reply. It looks like my message finally got through, and I got the confirmation email as well.

Received my new case and magnets are there and working... Could not replicate the auto shut off when the cover is folded all the way back though, as the cover is flat and the sides are rounded which seems to prevent interference. If you lift the cover to no longer be flat then yes, it will turn off, but this doesn't seem like an issue to me.

I have also noticed that compared to my old Lexington case the new tab holder on the new one is a lot easier to slip into... Is this just mine or did they fix that too? All in all very happy with the case and fixes.

Galactics on Amazon is offering the Black Lexington for $24 with free shipping. That is just about at the Pre-order price of a month ago. I'm sure that won't last long.

Anyone else who already has their replacement case want to debunk the poor reviews on Amazon? It seems like most here are quite happy with it. And for the price, I haven't seen anything even close to its form and function.

It looks like those of us who pre-ordered the Gray model will have to wait even longer for our case as Amazon is taking its time getting them in stock.

Here's a pic of the gray. Just received today. Very pleased with color.

Sorry. For some reason my URL isn't going thru.

For those that got your replacements, having the magnets work and easier tab to go in and out, is it much of a difference. I'm debating to just keep the original without magnets and selling the replacement as BNIB to recover some of the costs of all these cases.

They told me they don't have the updated black one in stock but offered me the Gray/Light Gray or Blue/Dark Gray or I can wait for the black. Does anyone have those alternate ones? If so how do they look? Esp interested if someone has seen the black one compared to those. Thanks!
