I agree. But its called 3G. I dont want to start THAT debate. 3G is not readily available. Im 3 hours away from any 3G. However, if its in your area, I understand the frustration.

This is an iPhone problem, not an EDGE problem. My Treo would interrupt a web page that was loading when a call came in.

The iPhone firmware doesn't do that. This is a yet another VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THE IPHONE. The list just grows and grows.

Sorry to give you bad news,
but, for the last hours, many users in France and Belgium have been complaining to not be able to receive incoming call after having upgraded to 3.0.
