I have no intentions of running Crysis, Assassins Creed 2 the vast, vast majority of brand new AAA releases, but I am excited about Steam for Mac for some older games.. particularly Counter-Strike. One of my friends also raves about Team Fortress 2 so wouldn't mind taking that for a spin. Does anyone reckon my humble Mini will be able to run lower end/older games such as those?

Ive got a 15"4 Macbook pro late 2009, with 2,66 ghz Intel CD2, and 4 gb of ddr3, and 9600 gt and osx 10.6.3. I expect it to run just as smoothly as Source does on Windows ;)

I have a 24" iMac Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz, 2 GB RAM, OSX 10.6.3 with ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro.

When I boot into Windows 7, I've been able to run the Valve games without a problem (as far as I can tell).

I just got Steam mac and Portal. The graphics are all glitched out, I can't start a game. Is there a config file or something so I can lower all the settings?

I have a 3 year old MacBook 2.16 GHz w/GMA 950 and 2 Gb of ram.
