Install DP5 at Developer Preview (Consumer Beta)

I keep getting installation failure errors when trying to upgrade from Public beta to DP5...weird. Public beta works fine, it just won't let me upgrade.
I can't upgrade PB 1 to DP 5 as well!!!!!
And some apps that I use frequently are really buggy in PB 1 ...

I've since been able to upgrade to DP5. I redownloaded the file and installed it on a 64gb SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 stick and it installed perfectly and now works flawlessly.
DP6 not appearing in App Store

It won't. The Public Beta looks at a different software update catalog than the developer previews.
Yeah, but it shouldn't matter because you're no longer running the Public Beta.
I'm having the same issue.
The updater doesn't change the software update catalog URL. Technically, you're running some hybrid non-DP/non-public beta combination which makes beta testing unreliable.

If you have some sort of active developer login (iOS included), you can access the Mac beta forums and the direct link is available there.
Did you go from PB1 to DP5 Delta or FULL? I am trying to find where I can download DP5 so I can upgrade my PB1 as well.

Any issues with Finder after the update? I am reading reports where people who went PB1 -> DP5 delta -> DP6 delta now have a non-functional Finder.
I went the same path, PB1 -> DP5 delta -> DP6 delta and I have no problems with the Finder or anything else that I've noticed so far. All of the bugs I had noted in DP5 seem to have been fixed.
While I was hoping to return to this thread to download the DP5 link I'll admit I'm dissapointed it's gone. Having said that I JUST installed the PB last night having had the invite email since the day it was released. I was debating hard whether or not to install it and finally bit the bullet. I have to say it's running like a champ on my '09 MBP.
