Not sure what you mean, assuming you mean 'made me decide that I have no reason to get a PC', but anyway I'd advise you to just wait till fall/winter when Intel's Conroe/Merom cpu's are scheduled to arrive. Among their advantages over the current Mini CPU's are EMT64 (64-bit) and improved virtualization capabilities. 64-bit is only important to consumers for resale value and perhaps for the ability to dual boot Windows Vista (64-bit only) with a future version of Boot Camp (I suspect Apple will upgrade BootCamp to support Vista next year, but that's just speculation), or to run virtualized Vista with the virtualization software rumored to be built in to OS X 10.5.
I was debating the same, but as badly as I want a Mac, have decided to stick with Linux till Mini's with Conroe or Merom hit the shelves, hopefully by end of this year at the latest.
If only i were 18 and could get some form of credit!!! LOL....I want this so bad...Im almost impatient enough just to snag the core solo...but i stilll dont have enough for that lmao... I might call my grandpa and see if his offer is still on the "table"..
