Been using this for a couple of days .. pretty useful.

Need to know where your next meeting is? Do you have any new email? What about a quick glimpse at your SMS/Text messages or weather? Want to catch the latest news, but Safari is too slow? IntelliScreen allows you to glimpse at your critical data on your iPhone "Slide to Unlock" screen!

I'm sorry, but that type of cluttered nonsense is why I left Windows Mobile and got an iPhone in the first place. Blech!

what I would really like is just a quick summary of unread emails, texts, missed calls. By summary I mean just the icon with the little red dot that says the number. That way I could have that info at a glance without having any "real" info showing before the phone is unlocked.

I'm with you on that one.. I'd really like it if I could turn off the preview of what text messages say, but only an alert that I have a text and maybe who it's from.
 
It is really cluttered, and it does defeat the purpose of a clock there :rolleyes: but it is nice. If this came for free as a download from the app store, I would definatly give this a try. Lots of nice information there, looks nice, but they definatly should do something with the clock, move it if they can, or otherwise.
 
I don't like the cluttered crap either, but I do like the Vonagent that they have on their website. Looks like an installer app. I have vonage and would love this app.
 
I've installed it on my iPod touch and I must say... I like this app quite a lot. Once of my top 10 of all time for the iPhone OS. Can't wait for June + 2.0 + AppStore :)
 
I like this app. Sometimes I wish I could get more info about calender, email, etc without unlocking; but I do really like the uncluttered look.

I was wishing for an app like this. I'll be upgrading from a PocketPC to the 3G iPhone when it comes out, and I really like having the home screen with all my appointments visible when I turn on the device.

Let's hope they come out with an official app store version for those of us who choose not to jailbreak our devices.
 
I'd like something like this (in terms of function), but instead shows up as tiny icons in the upper menu bar next to the battery icon. I already get the pop ups when I get a missed call or a text message. I just want a tiny icon to come up when I have received an email or missed an appointment.

Seriously! Are you people kidding me??!! You *want* this ugly cluttered trash all over your screen?? Wow there is no accounting for taste. Good lord what an abomination. Smite thee from the App store Apple!

I like this. Or the idea of it. I find I don't visit my calendar regularly otherwise... so I have to set alarms on everything, otherwise I'll not see it listed.

i live my life through my Agenda view on my treo, so this is a welcome addition to the iphone world, as i too cannot wait to get a 3G iPhone in the coming weeks. Sure it's "Cluttered" but you get to choose how much info u need. not everyone will have the same screen. i like the customization of it. may need refining (and what doesn't, bc even the bless'd iPhone has gotten its' share of critiques over the past year).

Good work....and submit it to the app store pls! :)
 
I love the calendar/meeting thing displayed. I can't sit hear and be expected to check my calender every morning to make sure what I am doing, and be reminded what I have to do.
 
Here is a simple mockup I designed that I think would be cleaner. There could also be news feeds and weather sections added as well.

Another idea that I had was using representative icons, but I'm too tired to make it now and it might get too confused with the home screen. I just like the idea of being able to expand / collapse various sections.

I would also like to work on a cleaner interface that didn't just use the blue bubble background. Something that appears more natural in set into the space between the clock and the slide to unlock switch. I may work on a few more designs tomorrow after my last final. I also just want to make it clear that this is not a working program, just some Photoshop fun inspired by this new app. Hope you all like it.

I can't try it myself (no iPhone) but if you can just keep some widgets on, like weather and missed calls then it gets my thumbs up.

Sweet! I've been looking for something to display calendar events on the lock screen and Kate/Caterpillar f-ed up my phone, so I couldn't use that. This looks fine so far. I don't intend on having all kinds of crap on there like the image in the OP, but my calendar events and maaaaaybe the weather or something would be nice.
