These are absolutely wonderful photos and I've been enjoying looking at all of them! Inspiring, really! Makes me want to grab the camera and start swinging it around, or moving it up-and-down.....

If this were spring or fall, where there is ample color, I'd definitely give it a whirl, but right now it is grey and bleak around here.....
It is very overcast and cloudy this afternoon, and it had rained earlier. I need to go out anyway, get those books to the library, so I am hoping it won't rain any further.

Look for color contrasts or textures for good ICM pics

I was able to download these. I am posting them out of respect for a very skilled photographer. It is ironic that one of his images inspired me to start this thread. I, for one, will miss learning from him.
He will be greatly missed here; over the years he has made some wonderful contributions to the photography subforum.
Not sure if sneezing during a hand held 1/2 second exposure counts as deliberate, but hanging on to it for a decade should.

I think when it says "Cancelled" under someone's user name it means that they have chosen to leave MR.....
Things can get heated in other parts of this forum. But fortunately we only attract the cream in the photography section. Lots of good people in here.

I don't tend to go over there much, only if I'm buying a new laptop or phone. I hate conflict so will just scroll on rather than comment. Agreed this is a nice friendly corner!

That is why I don't have any social media presence except on this photography forum. Life is too short and my blood pressure is too good to risk that chaos and animus.
Not sure if this was a sneeze or deliberate, but I have kept this fireworks shot from 2004 in my files.
When people like it, tell them it was intentional. When they don't, it was a sneeze.
