Regarding the seemingly widespread assumption I see around these parts all the time that the file size of any given delta update necessarily and directly corresponds to "how much" they changed. Or namely "this update is only ___ MBs so obviously nothing has changed that we will notice" ...

This CAN (potentially) be a misleading assumption. For instance, there could be a memory leak or otherwise faulty stray line of code somewhere that the engineers track down and the fix or clean up could technically either be only a few MBs (or KBs) - however, it might translate into a very noticeable increase in battery life in the real world. This is only one possible/plausible example out of many theoretical scenarios but I just thought I'd point that out.

Obviously one can assume that a delta update of under 50-100MBs probably doesn't pack many big exciting new "features", but to just write it off completely as if there could be nothing that would or could impact the UI/UX is probably a bit naive IMHO. Apple notoriously doesn't give very detailed change logs however their products (arguably) work and evolve more smoothly than many other competing OS's and hardware.

That said, a small update obviously could also mean that almost nothing changed that the end user should perceive under everyday usage. But this shouldn't be the only line of thinking.

So basically you're saying "It might be a big change. But it might not be. But it's probably not. But I'll just say this anyway"?

then you have a short memory the iphone 6 when it came out had numerous problems with it
That everyone was suffering from? Something beyond what happens for a few people with pretty much any iPhone or really any product release essentially ever? (That said, seems like this is a somewhat off topic discussion given the thread.)

Hello, can somebody please check if the "typing-in-2-languages" bug is fixed? On 10.2 again you have to have both keyboards enabled (making it 3 with the emoji keyboard which makes switching between them annoying). Before it was enough to have both dictionaries downloaded to your phone.

For more info check this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/type-in-2-languages.2002755/

I would like to know this as well... it worked with the initial versions of iOS 10, but at some point it got broken!
Using stock keyboard, with only keyboard as English, it used to recognise I was typing in Portuguese. Now I must have the 2nd keyboard added, without actually having to switch to it, for it to work...

Please be sure that you only have ONE language keyboard enabled. Because if I have both enabled (e.g. German and English) I can write in both languages without switching the keyboard. Before 10.2 you could do this with only one keyboard (German OR English).
But hopefully it gets fixed in iOS 10.2.1.

I works just fine with this settings: German iPhone language and ONLY English + emoji keyboard enabled.

The problem though: the keyboard stutters at the beginning. That's happening to me since iOS 10. But only if I use this setup. If I use German + emoji keyboard on a german iPhone there is no stutter

Just curious, why charge the phone before bed and let it sit overnight when you're not using it? Why not have it on the charger while you sleep and not worry about overnight idle drain?
If you, for some reason, cannot use your iPhone while charging at bed?
At least this is what I do recently. My wallplug near my bed is not reachable anyway.

It's a wiki thread now. :)
Unfortunately now it is NOT a wiki post.
[doublepost=1485078519][/doublepost]Battery drain is still extremely high in this beta after at least one week of active use. Battery case/External battery pack is a must for me now.
Also, the phone becomes hot while taking photos, and battery drops like crazy. Don't sure if this is because I use the camera under the direct sunlight.

Thank you very much. I had English iPhone language with only German + Emoji keyboard before and it didn't worked. So I tried a little and now with English iPhone language and only English + Emoji keyboard it does work. Still seems to me that there is some kind of a bug.
