Sierra is nowhere to be seen =(
Apple finally got back to me about iTunes backup. They want logs and sent me an backup profile to install on my device.

No, but the backup thing is a huge deal. It takes 40 minutes for a backup to be successful and god knows if its corrupt or not.
Just backed up my iPhone and it only took about 8 minutes. Weird that it'd work for me, but not for you.
Great to hear! Please let me know how it goes...Apple finally got back to me about iTunes backup. They want logs and sent me an backup profile to install on my device.

Trust me, it hasn't been fixed =(I'm hoping the iTunes update may fix it. But seems unlikely.
Restart iTunes, that worked for me yesterday.Trust me, it hasn't been fixed =(
I have restarted both iTunes and my MBP but it doesn't help. The issue still comes back... =(Restart iTunes, that worked for me yesterday.
Maybe you need to restart your phone and try again. My laptop is running Windows 10 Pro, btw.I have restarted both iTunes and my MBP but it doesn't help. The issue still comes back... =(
I have done that as well. This is a bug in either iOS or Sierra/iTunes. It started after installing b4 of iOS 10.2Maybe you need to restart your phone and try again. My laptop is running Windows 10 Pro, btw.

Just a question. I've been trying to backup my iPhone 7 to my MPB running Sierra 10.12.2 for the last our now and I keep getting this freaking error message. I have already sent a case to Apple about this but I want to resend a new one. Can I still use the Feedback assistant even though I'm running the final version of iOS 10.2? I'm not a developer...Booo. Ok thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for the information. I also delete all backups prior to taking a new one. I will try to disconnect the phone and quit iTunes though.I just use bug reporter. You can google it and it will take you to their website. Feedback is nice while on the phone but bug reporter is easier to use when they start requesting logs and what not.
As for trying to backup now. I've noticed that if I delete all prior backups from iTunes. Quit iTunes. Unplug the phone. Plug in the phone and reopen iTunes. Then back up, it's more likely to succeed. Not always but definitely seems to work better. Also make sure you don't have any other iOS devices plugged in. That also seems to screw it up.
Lastly. Every time you get that message, it is creating a corrupt backup. So you need to go to iTunes preferences and delete that backup before trying to create another one. Otherwise it's writing over a corrupt one which may lead it to being overall corrupted.
There is a link in the first page. And Feedback app is already gone in that beta.Just a question. So, I can use the bug reporter even though I'm not a developer? I don't want to get banned or anything

Thanks, I will use that link. I was not sure if I could since I'm not a developer....
Many thanks, will do it right away!!Yep. I don't have a developer account anymore and continue to use bug reporter. Have been for a few years now. Go for it. I currently have 6 open reports and at least 30 closed reports. (Most are from the Safari keyboard bug). More reports on this issue the better!

P.S.: iTunes 12.5.4 came out today. Going to download.
Not really. I still have them since I deleted the Videos app. Funny guy.So far no noticeable difference with 12.5.4. I'm assuming it mainly fixes the bug that deletes all your videos if you delete the videos app and only use TV.
Not really. I still have them since I deleted the Videos app. Funny guy.
I already deleted it when I was in beta 1.In beta 4, if you deleted the videos app and then tried to sync with iTunes all your downloaded movies were deleted. I believe beta 5 fixed that on the iOS side, but iTunes still did not see the TV app. The release notes of iTunes states compatibility with TV app. So not sure how I am being funny when those were known bugs/issues..
iOS 10.2 Beta 5-7 Release Notes:
"Syncing with iTunes 12.5 through 12.5.3 should no longer delete TV app library content."
I already deleted it when I was in beta 1.
Ah, I was in beta 2, my bad. Haha.So you deleted your videos app before the TV app was even available. Okay then. TV app become available in Beta 2. But regardless, my point still stands as the release notes clearly indicate that there was a problem with syncing videos with iTunes and only using the TV app. So again, I am not being a 'funny guy' when there was clearly a bug.
So I'm still having the bug where Usage and Standby times reset to lines. It, however, only seems to occur when Bluetooth is on (and thus connected to my Watch.)
