This is probably the best news I've seen all year. A very strong sign that Apple isn't going to kill star ratings!

Considering how much I use them to organize my collection that I've been building since 2006 when I started using iTunes, I was worried.

I haven't tried to reset settings, but the multitasking animation is still choppy on my 7Plus and there is still the additional wallpaper zoom at the end of the transition to the home screen.

Okay, thanks for posting. So it appears that additional animation is not going anywhere.
