Since iOS 10.3.1 Public Beta, I can no longer send SMS from either of my Macs, but I still receive them fine.

iOS 10.3.2 still broken.

If I turn off text message forwarding then turn it on again, no code appears on either of my Macs.

My Mac OS revision hasn't changed, only iOS.

I'm using an iPhone SE.

No issues here.

Yeah, now that I learned that you were asking "for Apple", I'm not too keen on this. @uandme72 This is part of the burden you should have realized you needed to take on. Asking other people to do this for you is not right.

I'm sure he's just asking others in case it's just his phone that's having the issues or if it's a widespread issue

The thing is that it doesn't seem like there's a mention of whether that user is still experiencing the issue in this beta or not.

Found the problem. I only have my phone number in the Send & Receive list enabled (Settings -> Messages). I enabled my iCloud one and it's working again.

Sounds like it got broken with the 10.3.1 official release, as I found that workaround from a reddit thread.

I prefer just my number so no messages accidentally get sent using my account email address.

Mine is enabled already and that didn't work for me hmm

I'm ecstatic with this release. I've been monitoring GeekBench scores on my iPhone 6 + for the last couple of years, with iOS 8, (I didn't test iOS 9 for some reason) and iOS 10. It's been annoying me with the differences in these releases.

iOS 8.4.1 gave me 1594 SC and 2892 MC scores.
iOS 10.0.1 gave me 1543 SC and 2856 MC scores.
iOS 10.3.1 gave me 947 SC and 1615 MC scores at their lowest point on the Public Beta.
iOS 10.3.2 gave me 1019 SC and 1745 MC scores on the Public Beta 1.
iOS 10.3.2 gave me 1622 SC and 2904 MC scores on the latest Public Beta 2. The best score for me since iOS 8! :D:apple:

Make sure your device has nothing running in background when you do those

Just for your information- I have already tried this and have arrived at the results.
But before I communicate to Apple, I thought I must also obtain others' feedback as well. I dont find any harm in that. But then each one is free to say no.

You are asking us? What are we? Bots? If Apple asked you, then you install beta and try things.
Please dont feel offended.

Automatic app updates seem to work again at least with this latest beta. No Notification Center message though when an app has been updated.

Testing on 10.3.2 beta 2 required.
Can someone please confirm whether all Whatsapp notifications disappear from Notification Centre whenever the Whatsapp App is opened even if no chat is opened

Intended behavior.

If you haven't sent feedback to Apple via the application, please be sure to do that.

There has got to be something that we have in common, something that Apple hasn't figured out, yet.

Reached out to their team. They are sending an escalation to engineers about this. I've tried everything and nothing works.

I am still having pretty rapid battery drain, especially invidle/sleep mode.

At least re-charge rate is much better again on 10.3.1 release

Make some SMS arrive in Messages App. It will show as banner and Badge App icon. It will also show in Notification centre.
Dont open Messages App.
Reboot the phone.
Now see the Notification centre. It will no longer have the notification for Messages App.
