Anyone having any charging problems using 3rd party MFI Lightning cables when connected to their computers? Specifically, the problem I am having is that when I connect a Paracable Lightning cable to my PC and my iPhone (iOS 10 PB3), the iPhone transfers data just fine between the two devices, but charging doesn't work at all. However, when the Paracable is connected to a USB charger, it charges just fine.

This obviously doesn't happen when I was running iOS 9.3.2/9.3.3 Public Beta....

OK. I'm at a loss here: how is the simulated 3D Touch supposed to work on non-3D Touch devices? I thought i was supposed to be able to long press a notification to interact with it, but that doesn't seem to work.

On the lock screen notifications, long press seemed the most logical when it was mentioned to be coming. But apple implemented it differently.

On the lock screen you swipe to the left and reveal a "View" option. That gives you the Rich Notification type to reply in. (Doesn't work for 3rd party apps because they can't release apps with that update until GM.)

Tap to Preview in Messages still doesn't work for me.

Also, with the Music Videos tab now gone from Videos, how do I see the one music video I have on my phone without seeing all of the cloud videos?

Ah... have been using that without knowing that was it. So, for now, seems limited to Messages.

Only thing I can think of is you have iCloud syncing on iBooks. Try this: Go into settings-iCloud-iCloud Drive. Flip the toggle that says iBooks. See if you can open up iBooks.

You might have to reset phone after flipping the toggle.

That worked. But now all my books disappear.

Will have to add from iTunes for now.

Thanks for the tip. :)

That's stupid. It's not THAT important to protect notifications.
It's been like that for some time. Important enough for a typical user as by scrolling around in Notification Center it wouldn't be too hard to dismiss a notification unintentionally with just a single tap.

I've noticed that when 3D touching in Messages to preview texts, it cuts off the bottom (doesn't show the most recent messages) :\

No you don't. Now that you got the app open, go back into settings and turn iBooks back on in iCloud Drive. You should then have access to all you're books again.

Anybody experiencing really laggy music controls in Control Center? It takes a considerable amount of time to even skip to next/previous song. Sometimes album artwork is stuck to the previous song played.

Why I have to press "clear" 2 times to clear the notification?

You don't if you have 3D Touch or an iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil. Devices not using the new interface interaction have to tap twice, because moving forward 3D Touch is how many things will be done and non 3D Touch devices will eventually fade away.

Is it just me, or does it laaaaag when 3D touching a message notification from the lock screen to open it up to quick reply?

Tried PB2 and the stutter when opening an app from within a folder is still present. There's also a slight stutter when opening other apps. Aside from that and BOA app not working, which is not apples fault, it's smooth. Went back to 9.3.3 for now in hopes that the stutter gets fixed. I know it's a beta and I enjoy testing it for a bit and going back and forth. No biggie for me. I did report the stuttering before going back:)

How many more betas do you guys think Apple will give us (2 more?)? Beta 3 seems to be quite stable already.

I believe they have revealed most of the new features in the Betas that they want to put in IOS10. So between now and the actual release they might just focus on bug-fixing and other optimizations.

I'm thinking we'll have betas all the way into September before it's officially released. I think we'll get to 6 betas.
