All was going well with this beta until I used my iPad this morning. The digitizer seems to be randomly unresponsive, so much so that I cannot type anything fluently any more, every third character is being missed out and I have to go back to correct. No damage could have been caused over night. Any advice anyone, or anything similar?

EDIT: Found the cause already, seems its only happening when it's plugged in via my lightning cable. When I take out the cable all is well as before.

This happens to be the whole "handoff" and "suggested app" thing introduced in iOS 9.

I have this off as don't use same account on other apple device and never showed in iOS 9 but does in iOS 10 which is good as you don't need to have handoff on any more if you don't want to use.

Hmm? Sounds strange. Maybe this is what Apple claimed "deep machine learning" blah blah. Don't know. I always keep it on as I use one ID across all devices.

The alarm clock sound is still not fix yet. In ios 9 the alarm clock sound will be base on the ring tone volume. But in ios 10 beta every morning I'm waken up by the loud alarm.

Oh thank goodness it's not just me! This has been driving me nuts and I've been trying to find a way to get the volume down. Hopefully they'll fix it in the next build!

New to iOS 10 beta, brought back from how it was in iOS 8.4 - 9.3.3. (Was mentioned in like beta 1 or 2 release notes to be coming back in a later beta, and beta 4 is when it came back.)

Ahh, I see I see. I hadn't noticed it before now!

How's your iCML been lately man? Been a while since I've heard any updates lol. The Match integration going okay?

So even though I have all keyboard sounds off it's still supposed to make a noise when I backspace?
[doublepost=1470321576][/doublepost]Anyone else searching "songs" in music and have the song listed alphabetically by artist? I want it listed by sing not by artist

Does anyone know how to get the smart text working? For example, if my friend sends me a message that he's going to be at a particular restaurant, it should underline the name of the restaurant. It used to maybe 1/10 times, but now does not do it at all. Is there a setting for this or is it on the server side?

this will work occasionally for me, but only for one local restaurant. My daughter works there and sent me a message last week saying she was there for work. The name of the restaurant was a link. Tried other local, non-chain restaurants - no go. I was able to get that restaurant to become a link every time I tried it that night. The next day - no go. However, it now works again.

I suspect that this is a server side thing and will be hit or miss until the final release.

What do you mean by "three times in a row?" Remove, add, remove, add, remove, add?

Yup, that's what I mean. for some reason that fixed it. I also reset keyboard dictionary a couple of times, and suddenly it started working.

I haven't had to add much since for matching but it's been holding and nothing has changed or swapped on me. So it's been solid for me after the initial big upload. They changed the system to what iTunes Match uses a few weeks back. I would assume things are better than they were now than when AM first launched. But I also assume it's still probably not perfect and may still require track title changing to upload and revert back once uploaded on a few things still.

Just got this, nice touch

This is Suggested apps, it's here since at least iOS9.

And speaking of Suggested Apps, the on/off switch that was under General -> Handoff and Suggested apps is missing, and the menu is now named Handoff.

I really hope Apple will provide an Off switch somewhere else because I don't like it and I disabled it on iOS9.

It wasn't there in the last beta either. I leave it on anyway, though I don't remember it ever actually suggesting an app I actually wanted at a given time.

The Spotlight Suggestions toggle has been removed from System Services under Location Services. That's why that icon is missing. Not quite sure what the Springboard is doing there though...

Hi,
I've already had this problem when charging my iphone in a high speed train. I came to the conclusion that the frequency of the power plug of the train was bad or incompatible with the iPhone charger.
Perhaps you have been faced to a similar thing...

I found a workaround on that. You have to make sure you change the music volume to the volume you need your alarm on. Not the phone volume but the music volume, very easy just go to your control center, swipe left and it will show you the volume slider for the music app, that's the one the control the alarm. Hopefully it gets fixed by GM release.

I am working on converting over my ICML as well. Started a few days ago. I have only encountered about 3 album matching/duplicate errors in the 560 I have uploaded so far. Was very pleased to see my star and heart ratings held up too.

I always thought "Radars" were an internal Apple thing. Never seen one before in a dev release

App Store. It was removed as an option in settings. So now it's identical to how you "re-install" any of the stock Apple apps if you removed any.
I'm running iOS 10 beta 4 and still have the option to show the iCloud Drive app on my iPhone 6s. So not sure what your saying is totally correct.

I think the option in settings (you mean settings -> icloud -> icloud drive right?) controls whether apps can use the icloud share sheet. The actual app that lives on springboard is now added and removed like any other app.

Pretty sure you don't. Settings > iCloud > iCloud Drive > Show On Home Screen option has been removed since beta 1.

iOS 9 option is there, iOS 10 option is not there.

It's done via App Store now just like if you removed Maps or any other stock app they've allowed in iOS 10.
