New Notifications and Control Center view are very bright, unlikely previous which were more translucent. They should automatically darken through the day, and it would achieve as much as Night Shift does for your eyes in the evening.

I can wait until 2017 for dark mode for apps but I don't think it should wait for Notifications and Control Center, but arrive before the GM of iOS 10, and be part of Night Shift.
This looks amazing, this is how dark mode should be done instead of just replacing white with black.

I just don't see why Apple can't at least offer these darker notifications / Control Center as a tie-in to Night Shift.

I understand a full dark mode in apps/settings etc will wait until 2017/OLED but there isn't really any excuse as to why the atom bomb bright Notifications bubbles/Control Center cannot be dark like that screenshot later in the day. It's not difficult.

After beta 4 I can see Apple moving to three-week periods between beta's. I also hope the JavaScript bug is fixed when you press backspace on the keyboard is sometimes paste something!!
Same! That bug is super annoying. Also at this point I think they will stick to two weeks cause the event should be on September 6, so if they do a three week cycle, that would probably mean only 5 betas before a GM, and I think there will be 6 betas before GM, so I'd expect 2 weeks between betas, for a total of 6, and then a GM a week after the release of beta 6.

Beta 3 has been excellent for me. Despite few minor things here and there.. I hope beta 4 is not a mess like sometimes it happens with betas.

That's a good point. It seems they are doing things a tad earlier this year. Normally the new iPhone is released towards the end of the month. This, as you say, gives less time for new beta's. I hope you're right!!

Can't really say. Beta 2 took 3 weeks to be released and then beta 3 came out after 2 weeks. 3 week cycle would give us only 2 more betas and that's only a total of 5 for a x.0 release.

That's not the same thing. Some devs will fix major incompatibilities that can be published with the iOS 9 SDK.

Devs cannot submit Apps compiled with the iOS 10 SDK until Apple begins accepting them. Which means, No, they cannot use new APIs until then.
That's what i said.
