For you in that case iOS is perfect.

For others like me who want more than what apple can give it is far from okay.

Maybe in years to come when they copy more stuff from Cydia then it will be.

Would you be more specific as to what "more" is? Last time I explored the Jailbreak offerings on iOS 9.x I didn't see anything worth while. Maybe unlimited iTunes radio skips?

Very much still well worth jailbreaking. iBlacklist is one reason I still JB.

Is that the tweak that blocks callers?

It is. It can be set to actually block the call from ever ringing so the caller thinks the number is out of service. Apple call blocking simply prevents a call from ringing and it sends the caller to voicemail where they can leave a message and that messages is then placed in a blocked messages folder.

Where do I start? I won't include theming because that is a personal thing.

F.lux-please don't say night shift as it is a joke compared to f.lux although when Apple copied it I hoped that they would have done it better but they didn't.

iFile-I'm sure that anyone that knows anything about jailbreaking will know what it can do.

AudioRecorder-record my calls if needed.

Eclipse-as with iFile I'm sure you know what it does.

OpenNotifier-notifications on the status bar. Works with the below.

Perpetual-notifications stay on the lock screen until you either open the app or delete them from the lock screen.

Priority Hub-works with the above two.

Polus-put what you want in the control centre and not what Apple things you want.

WeatherBoard 2-even people not into jailbreaking will know what this one does.

There are loads of others as well but they are again mainly for theming so personal tastes. Hope this helps :)

Edit: iBlacklist-as described in the post above this one.

Is it even worth it to Jailbreak anymore? I can't think of a single jailbreak tweak that I can't live without.

So then why are you here then?

As for whether ios10 and whether a future JB gets released...only time will tell. In the meantime, I'm happy with my JB phone.

Simple explanation really. The thread was started in iOS 10 Beta forum, I responded to it and then mods moved it to the Jailbreak forum.

That's a nice touch. I think Verizon offers a similar call blocking feature.

iBlacklist and adblocking in apps are the biggest reasons I still JB.

The last few weeks, I was getting a lot of solicitors calling me. I took the sim out of my S7 Edge and put it in my 6+ which is jailbroken and has iBlacklist installed. Those callers called once in the few weeks that I've been using the 6+ as my main phone and they have no called back since that first time. To them, it appears that the number is no longer in service so they tend not to call back.

I did have one number that called back day after day on that phone about a year ago for almost the entire summer. They finally gave up. It was likely one of those robocalls.

Can't believe I forgot to mention Activator

I can't live without:

TetherMe
LocationFaker
AskToCall
Audio Recorder
TypingPrivacy

Jailbreaking is for people who want an Android but won't switch no matter how much they claim to hate Apple. :)

android is a ****** operating system so no, you're wrong. jailbreak is for people who don't want a boring ass factory iphone

for me it's swipeselection & activator, the only 2 tweaks i'm truly missing.

One great jailbreak feature that I miss, and do not know of any alternative is "PM, Really?"

That alone is worth jailbreaking for me.

Activator is a pretty big deal and swipe selection was pretty decent also. I think the Google keyboard on the Appstore (gboard) allows you to swipe the spacebar to move the cursor IIRC.

I just hope a jailbreak for iSO 10 is not released until at least the second minor revision (i.e. 10.0.2). For if one is released for a beta, you can be sure that the exploit will be closed before final. And as history has shown, anything before the 0.2 update contains a lot of other instabilities.

Very interesting to read why some tweaks are worth JBing over. This one means little to me, but worth it to you.

What is the purpose of this tweak? Just change "am" "pm" to "AM" "PM"?
I had to look it up. When you set an alarm for 8 PM it asks if you really meant to set the alarm for 8 PM in case you intended to wake yourself in the morning instead.
