So , I updated bot iPhone 6 and iPad mini 3 . Short and smooth update .
My only problem so far is that all my keyboard text replacements are gone .
Anyone else ????
All of mine were gone as well. I had to set them all up, again. I have a 6S Plus.

Mine also gone. WTF. Did Apple test this cr^p before it was released. These kb shortcuts are important to me.

I'm pretty sure there was no testing done by anyone, anywhere. o_O:rolleyes: SMH.

Stuff happens. Contact Apple and report it. Restore it from your backup. Move on.

FWIW, I did not lose mine on iPhone 6S Plus or iPad Mini 4.

Incredible. I wonder what happened to me and a few others !

FYI, text replacements are known to sync very slowly over iOS and OSX, sometimes it takes a couple days. I would give it some time before doing anything drastic, especially since your text replacements are on your laptop. I know it's frustrating, I've been there too.

Also, you might try to force a sync by adding a new text replacement to your laptop. This might help push all of them down to the iOS devices. I've done this in the past.

I'll try that. Thank you for the tip. Will report back.

Done , now I'm going to wait as you suggested. On the other hand , I deleted the "omy" that was on the phone and it immediately went off iPad. Not on mac yet ....

Just added some and OTA updated from 9 to 10 and didn't lose any text replacements.

For this feature to *still* be flakey, we can only conclude that Apple's syncing backend for Text Replacements must be some kind of legacy technology. They're making all these strides with iCloud, but Text Replacements is running off a 2009 ThinkPad in the data center's canteen.

I tried one last thing on my iPad .

Swiched iCloud Drive off.
Hard reboot .
Wait 5 minutes.
Turned iCloud Drive back on.
Hard reboot.
Wait 5 minutes.

Then I checked the Text Replacements ...and they were back !

I don't know if it's a fix or not , or if they were just ready to come back but it's worth trying out .

I would really like to know if this helped someone or not... Just in case it happens again .
