Just tested. I have 0.32ms of lag between when I press the home button and the phone actually doing anything.

Alright. I'm not sure if this has been reported or not 11.2.5 Beta 1... Open iMessage; open a chat; start to reply; get distracted back to the home screen; rotate to landscape; open iMessage from task switcher; rotate to portrait and Viola! You can no longer see your text box or the bottom of your messages... At least I can't. Bug? Can anyone see if it's still present on Beta 2?

103 MB on my X. Downloading now.

I sure hope there are absolutely no bugs present or Apple will have hell to pay for releasing such an unfinished product in beta...

No home button delay, BUT:
Volume buttons now have a delay (around 85ms)!!!
Will update if I notice lock button delay.

Can anyone check if this fixes the weird cracking noise when swiping up from the bottom to dismiss control center on iPhone X?

Running smoothly here (on a Verizon iPhone 8 Plus) thus far.… I have yet to do my usual post-update restart (see: not hard reset) but will do so once phone has fully charged.

Yep, completely serious. I had iCloud music library on with a bunch of music downloaded, and it deleted the downloaded music.
I’m sorry, that totally blows. But it’s also all the more reason to use the superior (IMO) Spotify.

I’m perfectly fine with a beta release that strictly focuses on bug fixes and polishing.

The only feature I’m really missing is iCloud Messages, and with all the crap we’ve been through with iOS 11, I’d rather Apple get this feature right and not push it out half baked.

Can someone with an X enable Reachability and then swipe down and then back up and see if the Haptic feedback is still bugged?
