You’ll only see it if you hook your device up to a Mac and run the Console to check for errors and faults. Apparently it can cause lots of issues once January 2nd hits. Kinda like the December 2nd bug that crashed devices prompting a late night fix release.

Blame Apple for not allowing music apps to integrate with Siri. Spotlight is iirc a different story, and something Spotify isn't going to implement this year. But those aren't reasons to avoid Spotify. Spotify has many, many other features that Apple Music doesn't have.

This is new on beta 2 I believe. The music widget now shows the device with an arrow pointing to the Bluetooth or Airplay speaker you’re connected to.
