Battery life seems to be worse than with previous betas - I guess there's no way to go back.

Since this and the last beta I've noticed on the ipad pro when swiping up to access the control centre/multi tasking the animation sometimes pauses and I have to tap or swipe again for it to work properly. I've recently started using bluetooth turned on so not sure if its been mentioned before?

Ahh, my mistake. Sorry about that. Yes, charging from 1-50 I believe is supposed to be quickest part of the charge, it may slow between 50-80, but it definitely slows at 80-100. Read an article on this previously, but can't for the life of me recall the specifics on the "why" behind it.

Not having an 8 or X I haven't had the opportunity to use wireless charging. But I know in a previous update they added the ability to charge at 7.5w wirelessly correct? The output from a USB port is supposed to be 5w, maybe they're tweaking a behavior that wasn't intended where too much power was being drawn from a USB port? Just an idea. Maybe try with the wireless charger connected to a wall outlet with something providing more than 7.5w and see if the issue persists? Again, just an idea.

It's being slow with both a 29w USB-C and iPad 12w charger.

I really don't understand why Apple cranked the Keyclick and Power Sounds, actually much to my liking as they were barely audible before in my opinion, then removed it in Beta 4. You would think that Apple would just make things easier for everyone and assign a volume slider to those sounds so that everyone can set it at a volume that they would be happy with as I would tend to think that this would be a no brainer. Having gotten used to the louder keyclick, I can now barely hear the updated one. I could only imagine the frustrations of those who are unfortunate enough to wear hearing aids. My pop was for once able to hear the keyclicks, now with Beta 5 not at all. Thanks Apple. Just my two cents.

Is it MFi certified? I know some of the cheaper cables will charge and maybe even transfer data fine for a while, but often they lose the ability to transmit data and become charge only cables after a while.
Honestly don't know if is certified. I found the cable and I liked it because it was black and matched my car and worked fine for over a year until the moment I updated to this beta.
