I don't get this “A new iOS 11 Beta is available” alert at all, if it's any consolation. However it appears the reboot sequence to the 8/Plus has changed ... press/release volume up, press/release volume down, press hold side button no longer works and I can't find what does. Anyone know?

Still works for me on my 8+

I don't know if this is new, but it didn't happen on 11.1.

When shutting down my 6S+, it now shows the old spinning indicator until it fully powers off.

Confirmed here too. Just tried it now.

Anyone else notice when you view a photo and flip it to landscape he flick strip on the bottom goes twice as big? If you keep it in landscape and go back and select the phot again, the size goes back to normal
Yep same here. kind of like it bigger tho. I would hope it stayed that way and not go back small LOL.

I haven’t been following this thread but is battery life better on this beta than 11.1 public release? My iPhone 8 that I just got this week is struggling on 11.1. Thanks.

There's a general thing going around that iOS 11 is very buggy, this isn't one dude having an issue
Pretty much like the "general thing" of that kind that goes around in the early days of essentially most major releases.

Yeah but I feel like this one is lingering around more than others have, and hell the calculator bug just got fixed, and it's on a version not available to everyone

On my ipad pro 9,7 cannot sync more than 300 photos without crashing. Has it been resolved?

App Store App is Spamming to enable Bluetooth.
Once would be okay, but I get notifications every time.

How does airplay 2 work exactly? I mean obviously my iPhone will support it with 11.2, but does the receiving device also need to support airplay 2 specifically? I have an ATV4 upstairs but a Sky Q box downstairs with airplay built in, so will I be able to airplay to both from my phone anyway so long as I’m on 11.2, or will they both need an update to be able to revive the airplay 2 signal?
Your Sky Q box will continue to work with just Airplay as before. If the speaker is Airplay 2 compatible, such as your ATV4, you’ll be able to play the same song on that speakers as well as any other Airplay 2 speakers you want. For example, you have an ATV4 in your bedroom and living room. With Airplay 2, you can play the same song at the same time in both rooms. This is called Multi-room Audio.

What i’m interested in, is using Shared Up Next. This is also an Airplay 2 feature. it’s great for parties because it always multiple people add a song to the queue from their own device. For example, i’m having a small get together in the living room where there’s an ATV4. Person A wants to play a song so they airplay it to my ATV4 from their phone. Then Person B wants to play a song after that one is done, so from their own device they can view the song queue for the ATV4 and add their song to Up Next. no more, “hey lend me your phone so i can add a song”
