I think that builds being marked as non stable is what's breaking attention aware for calls. in 11.2 attention aware for calls was broken all the way up to the GM build where it then worked fine. I find it hard to believe Apple is constantly breaking and fixing that feature, though I could be wrong.

When you receive a call it should be at full volume for the ring tone, until you look at the screen then the attention aware feature will reduce the ring tone volume to be much quieter. Myself and others have had this feature break in the beta releases.

Oh ok, something broken in the beta versions. I was about to say, works on 11.2.6 and was never an issue for me. I like that feature, so I guess I'll hold off updating to the beta until a few releases from now.
 
How is the new Books app working in this build? It was almost unusable for me in the last two betas. Can we manually rearrange books now?

Has anyone succeeded in syncing all of your messages to iCloud? If yes, have you tried to do a clean install to see if all the messages are back on your phone? Are the attachments there as well?

Same for me. Can’t rearrange PDF’s. I was hoping Books would be fixed in this build but still a mess for me. IPX

Gone here. I swipe to delete and don’t see the ugly underscore message and it deletes message on other device.

I did a clean install and the 5 message threads I had going were synced back to me.

1Password still does not allow FaceID authentication. I realize this is an app specific problem as the app I downloaded to replace it (Dashlane) works fine but I figure it's worth mentioning as it indicates a change in the FaceID code.

1Password faceID authentication works just fine for me. It's been working fine from the first beta and still works on beta 3.

I did one recently and every thread synced right back to my phone. Attachments show up as thumbnails that you have to tap download on to see. But yes, they are there.

Sound promising. I haven't got it to sync all of my messages. I think its "stuck" or got interrupted during the first sync and now I don't know how to get it to re-sync

Thanks for the info. I haven't got it to sync all of my messages. I think its "stuck" or got interrupted during the first sync and now I don't know how to get it to re-sync

Hmm. I’ve got iMessage turned OFF in the cloud settings and still get a generic prompt that says “would you like to delete this conversation?” when swiping.

I get that message as well, but there was an ugly underscore message in the prior beta. That’s gone here.
