Does anyone know how I can re-trigger a full sync of my messages to iCloud? Something went wrong when I installed b1 of iOS 11.3 and it seems as if the sync got interrupted somehow. I would really appreciate your feedback.

Disable in iCloud settings, restart your phone, enable again. This should trigger a sync. On MacOS there is a button that says "sync now" in message settings. But the only way i know of in iOS is to disable, restart and enable again.

A 'SYNC NOW' button has re-appeared in the latest MAC OS beta but its yet to re-appear in the IOS BETA like it was in the summer for the 11.0 betas.

Thanks, I will try this. I haven't installed the latest MacOS beta but I will try this on my iPhone 8. Thanks again.

I'm having issues with messages in iCloud at the moment.

Although enabled on my MBP if i delete a message on there it does not delete from my iPad or iPhone. However if i delete on my iPhone or iPad then it deletes everywhere.

I really hope this is not an intended feature as it seems odd. I have reported it as a bug to Apple as on MacOS Beta 1 it worked fine. Since Beta 2 it's been as described above.

I am currently doing a TM backup then going to do a clean install of MacOS to see if that solves the issue. I've tried signing out/in to iCloud on MacOS and disabling/enabling iCloud Messages. But it doesn't solve the issue.

Tried your suggestion but nothing happened. I sent a bug-report to Apple during b2 so hopefullt they will get back to me

If you have another phone you can hotspot to the one needing an update and it'll download. Not sure why Apple lets us download an update over someone else's mobile data but not our own?

If I had to guess "why", I'd say that it's because to the local device ("your" phone), it's not using cellular data, but data via an external connection. Surely Apple would be able to identify the connection as a personal hotspot vs a wifi connection, but to the local device, all that matters is that you are not using your cellular connection.

Well it works for me, no problem unlocking 1Password with my face on beta 3, as it worked on every other betas

1Password faceID authentication works just fine for me. It's been working fine from the first beta and still works on beta 3.

Strange. Still get this message every time I open it. I've removed and reinstalled on all three betas to no avail. I've also flipped the switch for FaceID in settings. Stumped.

Same here... iPhone 6, three years old, battery health was 92% on Beta2 unthrottled, installed Beta3 now on 88% phone was throttled upon start up, also with message that the battery requires replacement.... so the battery is fubared at 88%????
Oh wow, I have an iPhone 6S+, nine months old and already down to 87% :/

I doubt they will, you can try wiping your phone and starting fresh
Sorry, I don't dare doing this. My messages are the most important thing on my phone. Since the sync didn't complete fully, I can't start fresh. I did a clean install of my "reserv-iphone 8" and then signed in to iCloud. Only a few messages were actually restored... without any attachments. I didn't even see any thumbnails

Should I send bug reports using the feedback assistant or the web version of bugreporter? I think I’ve never gotten a reply to any bugreport submitted via the app.

I've noticed my cast icon has disappeared from my apps (netflix, hulu, crackle) after the last beta. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

EDIT: Nevermind...google wifi issue :-(

Mine went down 1% after this beta :-(
it's now at 82 % before 83%

Mine’s back down to 92% it probably means nothing. Probably not 100% accurate
Its been said that the Apple diags from the genius bar looks at an average over a period of time. Its assumed the built in app would do the same. My 6s (2 +yr) was showing 87% in b2 but shows 88% now. iMazing shows 86%. Seems they are still tweaking it since both the app and iOS are in beta perhaps things will get more consistent closer to release.

I remember not too long ago when they made the public beta available just a few hours later. Now it’s a day in and still nothing

Two times my ipad rebooted itself while I was in Facebook Messenger app, anyone else?
This happened on my wife’s iPad Air 2 and 6 Plus. She uses that app a lot, so had to roll her back to 11.2.6.

Doesn’t happen on my 7 Plus or iPad Pro 10.5.
