I got sick of waiting and decided to reset the phone to factory settings. So far it seems to be working. Normally it would drop every 15-20 seconds, now it appears to be stable. Guess I get to do the same with my iPad. Bummer.
Proving it wasnt an iOS version bug, perhaps corrupted update on your device, which happens every now and then on any software update anywhere.I got sick of waiting and decided to reset the phone to factory settings. Man, you could have saved more than 24 hours if you had done that yesterday when it was recommended on like the 3rd post.
My process is as follows: Update, check for and update carrier settings, if a problem arises get on the forums and see if others are experiencing it. If they aren't, wipe and restore. I don't care if its more than one device exhibiting the symptoms, if I'm the only one who is having the issue then I safely assume it's me.
True. But even when restoring from backup it’s a pain in the butt to sign again into every app, etc. especially on two devices. I’ve had to do this before, but never to both my iPad and iPhone.
#26Im on an iPhone X with Verizon on 11.3 and no issues with cellular connectivity. I would advise a restore if all else fails
And Jesus thought he was having a hard time.Cool.
I am pumped. This is how I wanted to spend my Friday.
A year and a half ago you started a thread by complaining that your phone and apps were crashing all the time. If you installed something that screwed up your phone and installed the same on your iPad, it makes sense that an update could have messed with both.Ok. It happened to two devices during an iOS update. To me that is an iOS issue since the update shouldn’t have screwed up both. But I guess everyone has different opinions. I’m a huge Apple fan but I’m not going to give them a pass on something like this. It is a huge waste of time.

If you encrypt the backups in iTunes then passwords are backed up and restored too...
My iPhone X was rock solid before I upgraded to iOS 11.3 this morning. Now, I lose LTE connectivity every few seconds.
*Full LTE signal
*Drop to nothing
*then 1x
*then 3G
*then full LTE
*drop again
I'm on Verizon. I have reset my network settings, and restarted the phone multiple times. Essentially, it's a damn brick.
Anyone else having this problem?
