Have you guys problems installing iOS developer profile ??? I deleted it to download iOS 11.4 official, and now it doesn't let me install it again
I was wondering about that. Wasn't sure if it was the copy paste since the 11.4 RTM post also showed downgraded modem firmware, but the firmware was actually the same as Beta 6.This build has updated kernel but downgraded modem firmware
Perhaps he is on the public beta? I don’t think that is released yet.Set the date on your phone back to April 1 and try again. It will let you install the profile.

Thank you this worked perfectly!Set the date on your phone back to April 1 and try again. It will let you install the profile.

Hit or miss. I've seen one other person reporting that this worked for them, but I've been tinkering and while I can get the profile to install, it removes itself after a reboot.Set the date on your phone back to April 1 and try again. It will let you install the profile.
Did the profile remain installed after a reboot? This is my current problem.Thank you this worked perfectly!

I mean the modem firmware. When you posted the 11.4 GM thread it showed 8/X Qualcomm firmware as downgraded when compared to the Beta 6 thread, but in reality the firmware was the same as Beta 6.I crosschecked it with beta 6 to this build and it is different from 17.6.0: Tue May 1 16:16:12 PDT 2018; root:xnu-4570.60.21~7\ to 17.7.0: Mon May 21 19:02:13 PDT 2018; root:xnu-4570.70.14~16\

Ah, that got it! It was just a race to get it check for the update before it removed the profile I suppose. My profile was removed with a reboot as well but it did allow me to install ios 11.4.1 first. Not sure we'll need the profile after 11.4.1 beta since iOS 12 comes out Monday and that will require an entirely new profile.
Looks like after checking the profile isn’t there or shows installed after the reboot but will allow me to update to iOS 11.4.1Hit or miss. Yeah I was able to get it to work by very quickly checking for updates once it finished booting. It was a race. You've gotta start the check before the profile deletes.Looks like after checking the profile isn’t there or shows installed after the reboot but will allow me to update to iOS 11.4.1
Can someone clarify:
So we have a 4.1 beta but we’ll get 12 on Monday. How will this work? Once we upgrade to 12 on Monday who exactly is still testing the 4.1 beta when, if they release one, beta 2 would be considered a downgrade?

Although the whole thing seems very confusing that a small .4.1 Beta would come out in the midst of 12 on its way very soon I’m guessing that the 11.4.1 will be for Public Beta Testers until Apple decides when they will allow the public to participate in iOS 12 testing. However if you read he forums on the 11.X.X speculation thread and this thread it seems that the majority of folks are sticking with 11.4 due to its stability and awaiting WWDC for iOS 12 as opposed to installing profiles to get 11.4.1 for a short period of time to go to 12. I believe I may probably hold off as well.
Like last year iOS 10 beta was running concurrent to iOS 11, some users who couldn't stand iOS 11 1-2 beta was pretty buggy and they downgraded to iOS 10 beta or official since iOS 11 beta had a much longer cycle between each beta if you can tolerate the bugs.
This 4.1 beta is equivalent to iOS 10.3.3 last year (final touch up) but some users will hold off before jumping into next major iOS beta. Public beta testers may not get the first beta until either beta 2-3 and they may be on this beta cycle than iOS 12.
so are there any changes or new features?
Realistically as a bug fix release it should have some fixes or improvements (might only be really something under the hood too), but there shouldn't really be any new features in a bugfix release.so are there any changes or new features?
