I am unable to backup photos to Google photos after installing public beta. I deleted Google photos and reinstalled it, but it made no difference. I then copied photos to my spare iPhone with the iOs 10.3.2 using Air Drop and backed up the photos to Google Photos. Anyone else having this issue?

Whoa. So the new format (and smaller sizes) only impacts the iPhone 7? Nothing for 6s? Man. I was really hoping to free up some space....

hope u people know upload speed is critical here... bet half of u have less than 2mbps upload sigh.. "bug" lol..
Big assumption here.

As an update, I solved the problem of not being able to backup camera photos to Google photos in public beta 1. In settings:
camera-formats; select Most Compatible instead of high efficiency format. This allows you to backup files to Google photos while hoping Google photos will allow the new iOs 11 format or process it after uploading to their own picture format.
