Small change: the mail app is able to collapse the mailboxes.

Also I read that you can send WIFI passwords to nearby friend or family and it automatically puts it in for you. That’s nice to me.

This is in iOS 10. Not new to 11

does multitasking using 3d touch works on you? i mean to 3d touch to the left of the display edge and open multitasking
I lol'd the most at the lack of a one handed keyboard on a device that already has a one handed keyboard by the virtue of its size.

Safari: scroll back to top doesn't work when tapping the clock.
This is an odd bug, considering it still works in every other app.

That’s new to me.
It’s new for sure.

On iPad 12.9 with iOS beta 1, fresh install, no apps etc other than stock:

Safari: scroll back to top doesn't work when tapping the clock.

Works for me. You do have to be in the manner of scrolling to the top... then tap the clock.

Finally gave in and installed it on my 9.7" iPad Pro. So far, quite happy! A few bugs of course, but nothing major. Messages does not always show my message history. Force quitting fixes it. Messages also does not save which apps I've disabled: they automatically re-enable themselves. And as others have stated, auto-brightness is a bit aggressive so I disabled it for now. All in all, a great first beta so far!

I don't know what you mean by extra row.
I have an iPad Pro 12.9 and I don't have an extra row.
It looks exactly like the keyboard on my iPhone.
I have to tap on the ".?123" key in order to get to numbers and symbols.
Is there a setting somewhere that I don't know about?
UPDATE:
Silly me...there is a setting! I had my iPad Pro on "ZOOM" and I guess that disables the extra row!
I put it on "Standard" and now I have the extra row with numbers and symbols!!
So glad I inquired about it and SOOOO glad for your response!
THANKS!
hehe you were not enjoying a 13 inch iPad pro, just a big 10 inch =) you are going to love it!

Maps is utterly broken:

1. Widget prompts you to pick a home and work. No matter how many times you do, they never "stick."
2. Pressing the power button does not lock the phone, only shuts the screen off. Maps does not turn the screen on for new steps in navigation.
3. There is a new turn banner when in another app. Pressing it does nothing, however you can swipe it out of the way.
4. Maps crashes, constantly. After one such crash and restarting the app, the first step of my directions created it's banner, which kept reappearing, even over the actual directions. Had to restart.

Home App:
Bugs:
1. When switching to a room, you can hold and drag that entire screen around.

iOS in general:
Bugs:
1. Exiting an app often causes wiggle mode. No apparent rhyme or reason, but Apple seems to really want you to rearrange your icons every time you're done using an app.
2. Many of the others listed thusfar.

Feature:
1. Photos now knows how to handle animated image files, such as .gifs.

This is all on a 7 Plus.

Mine was doing that, as well, and it wouldn’t let me move the apps around even though they were wiggling. I fixed it by double clicking the home button and closing all the apps. Fixed a lot of my issues actually.

  • Shared links in Safari appears to be gone. Replaced with history.
  • Holding reader view icon gives options for "Automatic Reader View"
  • Swiping on reading list item now allows to save offline.
  • New icons when swiping on notes to delete, add to folder, lock, and a new option to pin notes.
  • Springboard labels and Calendar date got slightly thicker.
  • GIFs in Photos app are now animated.

I can toggle on and off WIFI on the control center. When I check the settings app, it still shows WIFI is still on but not connected. Anyone else having this issue?

I’m having an issue with my photos! Seems iOS 11on my iPhone is trying to download 12 original pictures for the last 5 hours.

I tried rebooting the phone and same issue.

Anyone else have this issue?

All kinds of weird things with iCloud Photo Library. After a couple of resets it seems to have settled down. Except it shows a higher count of photos than my iPad and Mac.

That’s odd because it works fine on my 7 Plus and iPad Pro.

Is the ability to remove unused apps automatically but keep the settings and documents new?

I couldn't see this and the other new Storage Management options mentioned in the 1st post Wiki - I may have missed it.

  • Holding reader view icon gives options for "Automatic Reader View"

Automatic Reader View - as in you can set Safari to open new pages automatically in Reader View by default and toggle out should you choose to do so?

If that's the case, great

Man, for me this is the buggiest beta that i ve tested, beta 2 with for sure be very welcomed

3D Touching a photo within a Messages thread while listening to music with AirPods caused all sorts of problems. Woof.

I found a very simple way to brick an iPad Pro 9.7"!

To Reproduce:
  1. Open Mail app in 3/4 right pane.
  2. Start a new message.
  3. Make a Notes popover on the right, hovering over the message.
  4. Open a note that contains a photo.
  5. Repeat 15-20 times:
    1. Drag photo onto message
Restoring now, just over 24 hours since installing it. It's like a Buddhist sand painting.

It appears to be back, only now, I can't move the two new Apps I installed. They're on my second homescreen and refuse to move elsewhere.

EDIT: Resolved after restart. However there's a graphical artifact where an app moved in a folder will either not show an icon there or show multiple of the same icon.

I've had app icons show outside of a folder when the folder is opened, and a folder showing up completely empty when there are apps in it. Still seems very buggy.

How to fix this? :(

Close whichever app last played audio.
