My experience with iOS 11 on my 10.5" has been very good. No major problem so far. I'm very glad that I did it.

It's odd, because the differences are very subtle, but it feels like a completely different experience to me. Maybe it's the fact that I am selling my MacBook so I am attempting to do EVERYTHING on my iPad, but it feels very natural so far. I was able to download a 4 GB Windows 10 ISO to my server and install and run a Windows Virtual Machine right from my iPad. I was impressed.

I’ve been using my iPad 10.5 with iOS 11 for 2 days solid now. When I purchased my iPad I immediately updated to iOS 11 and put my MacBook away, with the goal of using my iPad solely on a daily basis.

It has been very stable for me so far... haven’t really had any issues with it at all. The only item I would complain about is the battery life currently, it’s pretty rough. I am able to drain this iPad in a single day with consistent use, previous iPads would last at least 2 days.

Net / Net - A few catches here and there but it’s definitely usable as a daily driver. Multi-Tasking is key.
[doublepost=1497529907][/doublepost]I would assume yes... but I’m going to ask anyway. :) Are you all also experiencing significant battery drain on your 10.5 with iOS 11? Mine seeems to be dropping fairly quickly overall, I also have the Smart Keyboard attached.

Normally I wouldn't dig into this but you kinda started it. You can't just arbitrarily define a "normal person" and state that iOS 11 is not stable enough for such an individual to run. For example, I am a college student spending the summer at home, running iOS 11 on an iPad that I only rely heavily on during the school year. Is it stable enough for me? Yes. My mother, however, probably couldn't handle running iOS 11 considering she heavily relies on her iPhone 6S for her job, and has minimal technical ability to begin with. Based on your statement, it seems as though we would both be grouped into the "normal person" category despite the fact that only one of us can probably handle running iOS 11 in its beta stages. My point here is that there is no such thing as a "normal person" or "average user." Everyone's usage habits differ to some extent, which means that nobody can make claims whether or not some vaguely defined group of people will be able to tolerate running a beta version of iOS.
Yes there is. I work in the industry. I can classify you down to a pin point. So can others. We do it all the time. You're not as unique as you think you are.

I have had pretty good battery life so far. No smart keyboard for me though. I used it for about 3 hours last night and it dropped from 100 to 75.

Well it was running fine, but not anymore.

Was multitasking between Messages and Pixelmator when all of a sudden it locked up. Rebooted, now stuck in a boot loop showing nothing but the Apple logo.

Can anyone say beta one?

On the 13th it ran like a champ. 14th I was down to 16% by time I put it on the charger. Today I was on it for a couple hours and was about to dip in the 70s. I don’t think I’m getting optimal battery life with 11 on it, but I’m believing it’ll get better as more betas are released.

Obviously

Seems to still be fine, although a little buggier in spots. Still not willing to go back to iOS 10. Looking forward to beta 2 next week.

Is someone using PDF Expert 6 on iPad 10.5 running iOS11? Annotate and PDF files signing don’t work. Can someone confirm this? Tia

I have check right now and both still working.

SylvesterBCN answered you when you first asked this question, but to add to it I will say that when I first installed iOS11 on a new 12.9” iPad Pro and opening PDF Expert, I noticed annotation/editing of PDFs not working. I simply went to settings within PDF Expert and restored purchase. It is now working as before, so give it a try.
