So, WWDC has come and gone, and some features have been discovered in the days following release. Depending a bit on interpretation, the final tally seems to come to... 20* out of 99
That makes the winner of this year's contest: theShredder, who had exactly 20. His individual features didn't match exactly with what Apple released, but the rules said it was about the count, so congratulations! You win an honourable mention and the satisfaction of being a better geek than the rest of us . Thanks to everyone who played & see you guys next year . Suggestions for 20 replacement features to get the list back up to 99 (or 100?) are very welcome.
* I counted below as being released:
System-Wide
04. Drag and drop between apps in split view on iPad
07. Some type of Finder or easier way of letting apps access each others files
Control Center
08. Customisable control center
09. Force Touch in control center to select WiFi network, Bluetooth device, ...
User Interface
14. Make the UI design language consistent again (re: Music, News)
18. Blocking warning boxes (“10% battery remaining”) replaced by regular notifications
Home Screen
19. Smarter icon rearrangement (e.g. move multiple icons at once, or auto-sort most used to 1st screen)
Settings
27. Further improved Family Sharing.
30. Ability to send audio to a specific device.
Continuity
37. Allow iPad to access files shared from macOS
Siri
46. Textual input for Siri
48. Extend SiriKit to additional categories of interaction
