Skype update released 5 min ago. But you need to delete the old app and do a fresh install. Otherwise it will crash again.

Looks like some developers are slowly updating their apps to run on iOS 11. An app that I have from 2013 was updated to run on iOS 11 earlier today. For the past week, noticed a few of the 32 bit apps I have, have been migrated to iOS 11.

I should note that Automatic Classic does not seem to be working with iOS 11.2 beta 1. Not surprising as their app and support seem to have really gone downhill since like iOS 7 or something similar.
