Did you take your phone in?Im also gonna stay on public unless anything major is changed, always tempting tho
Yeah they said i need to book a genius appointment so got it FridayDid you take your phone in?
???Swipe to unlock now moved to top of the screen after failed unlock face id attempt.
My XS Max is trying to download 12.1 beta 5. I'm on 12.1 official release. Would it download the correct file like yesterday when it was showing iOS 12 as being downloaded instead?
I’ve had this one since the debut of 12 on my iPad Pro.Safari: "add to home screen" - when there is just one home screen, it does not show the recently added icon. It does create a 2nd home screen page but when you swipe left the icon is missing. After a reboot or waiting for several minutes, the icon may appear.
You can now turn off the Physical SIM line, in 12.1 you could only turn off the eSIM line
It is definitely there for me, I can turn either line off now.
The carrier settings have been updated for me, I wonder if is dependent of that?
Is public beta out yet?my ipad and xs max still shows 12.1 beta 5 update and im on 12.1 on both..
For me, it's worth the upgrade so I can have the FaceTime flip-camera button back on the main screen.I think I'm going to sit this one out. I can do without the drama and have good battery life! I'll be back for 12.2.
Under carrier, select your physical sim and you’ll see it. Have to be running 12.1.1 and carrier profile has to be updated.
I have had that problem before. I was able to fix by rebooting the phone.so I removed my profile for dev betas but my "software update" still shows a badge. When I go into it, it says "iOS 12.1 is up to date" any ideas how to remove the badge?
Found it about a minute after posting

Just noticed the o2 sim has defaulted to 3G as well, after seeing the screenshot.
Is it a dual sim limitation that your O2 on 3G?
This is a pretty big deal. Being able to turn off the physical line was the only thing I found to be missing after reading up on the dual-sim situation thoroughly. It's much safer to have my business number as a physical sim incase my iPhone ends up lost or damage, then I can just pop the sim into a spare iPhone and carry on. But obviously I still want peace and quiet on days off!Found it about a minute after posting

Thanks for clarifying! If it was some limitation, I would’ve avoided the Dual SIM function lolNo, seems to have just defaulted to 3G, I hadn’t noticed until I saw the screenshot, I went back in and changed it to 4G.

Can confirm 12.1.1 makes FaceID faster again
I think my 12.1 got bugged out maybe and doing the beta fixed it, strangeNope, feels the same as normal
