iOS 12.2 Beta 6 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Anyone having issues with the Apple 'handoff' features not working fully as it should?
If I look at Safari website on my iPhone, I can clearly see the handoff icon appear on my MacBook Air and I can carry on by clicking on that.
However, it does not work the other way around. I am lost as to what to do next.

Tried - iPhone - turning off wifi, Bluetooth, handoff. Rebooted phone. Turned them all back on.
MacBook Air - same as above.
 
I don’t know whats wrong with my device. My xs max was smooth and fast in beta 5, but when installed beta 6 my device got too laggy and stutter. Config app opens in 5 seconds. Instagram opens in 12 seconds. What the ****. I have try reebot but didnt worked and and reset all settings but nothing.

Lets see what happens tomorrow with final version.

When you add Chinese cities in the Clock app, for example Beijing, normally it would just show as “Beijing, China” but now “Beijing, China mainland”.

Fairly sure similar type of privacy concerns have been voiced by some in relation to Edison as well.

Some discussions in threads like https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/alternative-mail-apps.1949245/ and/or https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/five-of-the-best-email-apps-on-ios.2167895/ might be of some help with that kind of thing.

Most of my Continuity features (includes Handoff) broke several months ago. I have a feeling signing out of iCloud and back in will fix it, but that is a HUGE inconvenience.

If you try it let me know!

Has any had any issue with adding a Google account to their Password & Accounts settings?

I had to remove an account and re-add it, however once I submit my login info, it jumps back to the account type (Google, AOL, Yahoo, iCloud) page and doesn't appear to do anything. Tested in 12.1.4, seems to add account fine. Perfomed a Reset All Settings too.

I'm having this issue. It's on the Mac side as well, so it seems to be a bug introduced in both recent betas.
 
Why don’t Apple publish a list of fixed bugs in each version?

More importantly, why do Apple not fix UI bugs????

I’ve been reporting Safari text edit field bugs for YEARS. Every bug I research ties back to iOS 7 and has not been fixed. Selection problems, autocorrect non-functioning randomly (from fields that just don’t have it at all to fields that have it and then suddenly don’t), misspelled words never being underlined (and in Messages app too, reported for years and never fixed), spelling suggestions popup vanishes before it can be tapped on (in some text fields but not others, in Safari), capitalization errors with auto-correction (capitalizes words unnecessarily, wont capitalize beginnings of new lines and disables autocorrect on new lines, randomly), etc and so and and so forth!!!!!

Today’s rant triggered by universal clipboard NOT WORKING, as per usual, it seems. Yes, I’ve done all the recommended “fixes” for this feature that should just work.

Universal clipboard never worked reliable between my devices. It's really a joke. :(
