Reminders sync still not working since Beta 2, seems to be affecting Goodtask also. Probably going to go back to 12.3 and wait for 13 beta next week...

Updated wiki - this beta is using an updated kernel 18.7.0 built on May 21

Release notes is not yet available for this build

How are running these Geekbench? Normally, you will see huge decrease if you update via OTA. When running Geekbench, I normally close all apps in the background and run the benchmark 3 times to get a more accurate score. My highest score in the second run.

Updating via iTunes or OTA won’t make a difference with your Geekbench scores unless something is already hosed with your phone.

Why not just average your scores like everyone else? Run three times then average all scores. It’s closer to the real score that way (unless you just want a big number, then using the highest works but it’s less accurate).

Also a pro tip, don’t run them back to back. Give the phone 5 or so minutes in between runs to shed some of the thermal load it built up. Otherwise your second and third runs will see your CPU not boosting as high.

iMessage sync is way better with 12.4 b3. I have three devices on 12.4 b3, iPP, XR and 6S. When I get a text they are three bing at the same time. When I clear a message on one the other two are cleared immediately.

Oh good. That has been an issue for me, sometimes several minutes difference

Been experiencing a lot of connectivity issues on this beta. Places where I normally have sufficient coverage I'm having hang ups. Outside my office has always been a good determining factor and even though I'm showing my usual 1 bar I can't even load my news feed in the News app. I also usually have no issues sending iMessages from my office and I've had several go out as text messages and any pictures I attempt to send either get hung up and eventually send as texts or fail altogether.

Why are iOS beta-related threads always so dramatic :rolleyes:

Anyway, this beta seems so far to be running well on my iPhone 8 Plus and on my iPad Mini 5 – after, of course, a quick and smooth installation coming from beta 2. :apple:
Just for one. Just for one. :D:cool::rolleyes:

I feel this beta could well be the last beta for iOS 12 as Apple switches the focus to iOS 13. One week away, what could go wrong?

Do we get an update from 12.4 beta to 13 beta or is it a new profile? Cheers
New profile as usual. iOS 12 beta profile will expire.

They won’t switch focus right away. They’ll keep a team on this if it ain’t finalized to GM by next week.

Anyone having issues with the News app crashing? Mine crashes every time within 30 secs of opening it.

Try resetting your settings.

As in reset all settings? Ugh

Hmm. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Seems to have fixed it.

The more I think about it, the more I think we could see 12.4 released before the keynote, as bizarre as that might be. Otherwise, you’ll have developers needing to choose which beta profile (and beta) to continue with. Although I don’t think that will be a tough choice for most, it will cause some confusion, especially among the non-developer developers.

I’m guessing you forgot about last year where iOS 12 beta was released on June 4th while we were still in beta for 11.4.1 from May 29.

iOS 12.4 ain’t done cooking yet. I’m sure they’ll release another beta Monday/Tuesday since this is likely the last version of iOS 12. Got to make it stable as possible. If they don’t then a GM Monday. But it’s not like Apple to rush these based on last year.

Anyways stop worrying. We can’t this discuss this here any further.

As for 12.4. It’s stable. Speed is fast but slow downs and stuttering still happen. I’m still seeing the cell radio crash and go to no service. Battery life is just OK. Not great or good. For example, I lost 4% in 3hrs in just stand by.

I hope they gives us some battery improvements in iOS 13.

Yeah, running two beta versions with separate profiles for the same platforms/devices is not at all unprecedented….

you really don’t think developers especially have more than one test device to run betas on?
