Wow. This beta reconnects to cellular really fast.

I take the subway a lot, so I’m constantly having to toggle airplane mode on/off to force the phone to reconnect to LTE whenever I get to each stop (no cell service in the tunnels, only at the platforms at each stop). This beta reconnects almost instantly and I don’t have to bother “forcing” it to connect.

That’s really great for me.

I wonder if there will be any negative impacts to battery life in low signal areas. Usually when you lose service the phone will sleep the radio periodically to conserve power. If it's consistently reconnecting very quickly then I wonder if the radio is constantly searching, which will run the battery down.

This is awesome. I hope it remains. I’m in nyc and hated how slow it reconnects before.

I'd just wait for the final release. It's the same stuff every year, there will always be issues. No reason to deal with all that for apps to open .2 seconds faster and grouped notifications. It's still the same old iOS.

For those experiencing gps issues. REBOOT again and wait a few minutes. Toggle airplane mode then try again.

What's this GPS issue people keep talking about? I've used Google Maps constantly every single day to map my route to work and from work and I've had zero issues.

The only bug I've come across is the FaceTime bug which would hang at the black screen after a FaceTime call had ended.

Downloading B2 now.

Just getting a spinner when tapping “Download and Install” and entering my passcode. Restarting the phone didn’t fix it.

Beta 1 is working quite well for me. Not sure I want to go off it until the public beta comes out.
