Debating giving this a go on my iPhone X - I also have an Apple Watch but won't/don't want to install the WatchOS beta, am I required to do so in order for this to work properly with my watch or can I continue using my watch as is, and the beta on my iPhone X?

Thanks!

Yes, you can install iOS 12 and keep your Watch on OS4. I have an original Apple Watch and I have to do that.

What is the difference in approach between bugreport and feedback app? Which is faster in resolving issues?

They're not different except in access to them. Only developers can access bugreporter.apple.com. They both generate radars. So one isn't faster then the other.

Was there a lot of people using Group FaceTime? No one in my circle is running beta 12 so wasn’t able to use it

Sweet thanks, no major issues with the watch working properly in doing so, right?
You might see some abnormal battery drain on the Watch the first few days but it tends to settle down after that. However, overall, I am not seeing the same battery life I did with the iOS 11/WatchOS 4 combo.

Cool, thanks. Going to give it a shot now since it's 7 betas in, seems once it gets this far it's usually *fairly* stable, as opposed to being at beta 2 or 3. Thanks again.

First impressions:
- No shortcuts app yet
- HSBC worldwide app still crashes on launch
- Face on Face ID is back (missing in beta 5 and 6)

> Airplay 2
> Messages in the Cloud
> Group FaceTime

I'm not liking this trend.
MobileMe!
[doublepost=1534181424][/doublepost]For those who keep hoping to see the Shortcuts app, it ain't happening until iOS 12 launches. Its only 3-4 weeks away. Play with Workflow instead of stressing out over this.

New splash screen when you open messages.

Right, first impressions are quite negative. Phone froze for a while. All my apps are taking VERY long to open although it could just be my phone. However, once I had opened them and closed them, the apps relaunched at a normal pace.

Same here...

Seeing same thing here. You just can't form impressions in the first 30-60 minutes after an install, though. Too much overhead in the system (indexing, logging, etc...) for it to work at rated speed.

Upon first unlock AppStore-app got stuck on launch. On second unlock the Watch-app got stuck on launch...

My iphone X became totally unresponsive and sluggish after installing, never seen something like that, did a hard restart and still chugging along, WTF

I would HIGHLY recommend people not to install this beta... Rebooted my phone and the problems are still there. Let’s hope it improves as time goes by but the phone has become very unresponsive when opening apps or launching the multitask tabs. Even swiping down on Control Centre is very slow.
