I think we’re dealing with a very weird iOS beta this year. B1 is smooth... like, too smooth. Aside from some maps issues in CarPlay, it’s been flawless for me. It makes me think Apple’s release schedule may not adhere to past cycles since iOS 12 is essentially iOS 11.5.

But who knows. We’ll see what happens today!

His backside. If developer beta 2 doesn’t come out till next week then public beta would miss the June release period which I can’t see happening.

That isn't true. Last year DP2 came out on 6/21 (Thursday) and PB1 came out on 6/26 (Tuesday). That's 3 "working" days in-between. If they held DP2 until 6/25 (Monday), we could still PB1 by 6/28 (Thursday). Given how much smoother the iOS 12 beta cycle seems to be thus far, I would not expect more than 3 "working" days in-between DP2 and PB1, and would be surprised if DP2 was held back until early next week.

Oh I didn’t catch that, I usually read through past comments too. Well that’s a damm shame but understandable. I’m gonna guess either a release today or next week then.
Sunny2k1 also vanished about the same time. He was the insight to how banks were testing Apple Pay.

If no release today I will have to go back to 11.4.1, this Beta started out being the smoothest ever for me but it has gotten progressively worse, my screen freezes up when answering a phone call and I cant pick it up... I lose LTE connectivity even when having all my bars up and cannot get any internet until I do a reboot.... netflix just gives me a black screen sometimes for a day or 2... my batter life is horrible now (went down 75% in 3 hours yesterday with very little use) and my phone just randomly gets really hot.... I am on an iPhone X.... and before the Beta police comes in I am not complaining I know the risks of installing a beta on my primary phone bla bla bla... lol .... just saying that I will have to roll back if DP2 doesn't come out for me to see if it fixes these issues. I am just perplexed because it started out so wonderfully for me, I was shocked that this was a beta at first.

I have no real issues with iOS 12 beta 1. Battery does seem a bit shorter but the performance is noticeably better than 11. Apps crash once in a while but it's pretty rare.

Still, hope beta 2 is out soon with improvements ideally, not regressions.

I also understand the risks of using a first beta. I have experienced some weird issues where when I receive calls and messages without the phone ringing. At other times the phone does ring or give alert sounds for messages. Also, sometime I will get notifications show up mysteriously hours later, after calls and messages were received. It is very inconsistent, though. I am on Walmart Family Mobile which I believe uses tmobile's network. The only thing I have tried is to reset network settings.

So I also hope beta 2 drops today.

I agree. All the beta 1s including Mojave are running well for me.

Hopefully beta 2 is today because I would love to be able to use the Citi and BofA apps again.. I believe they were updated in the App Store between DP1 and now but it didn't make much of a difference.
