Anyone having apparent troubles with iCloud Photos? When I delete or move things around, it never seems to update. Unchanging “Updated Just Now.”

Figured I'd wait a day or two....and no! I have read WAY too many bugs with this (missing notification sounds, BT issues, this VPN bug, severe battery drain, phone hotter than usual using certain apps, other odd behaviors.)

I'm totally skipping this update! C'mon Apple...get it together!!!

Same here...

I’m an still having terrible issues with sound on the iPhone 11 series devices. Phone was replaced, no difference so can’t be hardware related.

The lock sound will go from normal to incredibly loud to very low. Same with key click sounds and ringtones when text messages come through. No consistency. Usually very loud though.

Anyone else experiencing this with iPhone 11? This is very annoying and continues on iOS 13.4. Apple support has no answers. One tech said this is normal behavior.

I am on the Final Beta - IPAD OS 13.4. When I connect my iPad to the LG 5k monitor VIA USB C - the display now doesn’t work.

Normally an icon in the upper right pops up showing it is connected. Now that disappears the the montirot doesn’t turn on.

It does charge however...

Any of you seeing this?

Only issue I have been having is that some pages become unresponsive from time to time in Safari, both on my iPhone and iPad.
I've noticed a lot of touch related issues. Safari pages and iOS. First time in all the updates I've had issues. I have an XS. I've thought about resetting settings but, man the thought of organizing my home screen again keeps me from doing it. Any ideas? Already tried soft reset. Thanks

I have had a weird problem after updating to iOS 13.4. My speaker volume in both earpiece and bottom speaker has gone down drastically. Is there anybody with a similar issue?

hello, I am writing from an iPad Pro 10.5“ using the latest 13.4 beta. My smart keyboard just stopped working. Anyone else with this issue? How could I solve it?

But is that how yours is now? I just need to know if it’s expected (new?) behaviour

I don't get the swoosh. I'll try it again, but it has stopped for me. I was concerned the first time I didn't get it as to whether there was something wrong with my iPhone. But given that it was DND, I didn't worry about it. *shrug* Too many bugs so far...

So, I try to use my Air Pods this morning with the Phone app, and it drops the Bluetooth connection, EVERY TIME!

Music works, I get the normal beeps, but if I open the Phone app, I hear the dialing tones, and then when it shows the normal screen for a phone call, it drops the Bluetooth connection, and goes to the little speaker at the top of the screen. I can go into Settings/Bluetooth, and it connects, but then immediately drops. Nice feature...

The Air Pods are charged, and like I said, the Music app has no problems with them. This is nuts! It worked right before the last update. Come on Apple, it's not that hard. (I'll try rebooting the iPhone, but this new wrinkle is crazy)

I would expect DND would mean just that and pretty much silence the device while on. I cannot recall any sounds while DND is on (scheduled nightly 10pm til 7am) from any version of iOS.

Even when you are actually on the phone?

Edit: I think I found out what it is and it’s my fault. Under the do not disturb settings I had silence set to always Rather than when iPhone is locked

And I always got it, and it was quite annoying. It was like DND didn't apply to some system tones. I repeatedly got the 'swoosh', and had to turn my volume down to not annoy the wife. That's how I found out it didn't 'swoosh', was I forgot to turn it down, and it didn't happen. Maybe I was luck to be gifted with the swoosh before the update, and they fixed it? No idea...

I remember there was a setting that basically turned everything off, but I wasn't getting messaging alerts, which made me famous for many people. Once, I wasn't even getting tone notifications for phone calls, or voicemail. Yeah, I was very popular. People were calling other people who might know where I was to see if they could get me to answer my cell phone. Awkward. That was a few years ago, and I've tried to keep things working, notification tones. And I inherited a very sound sensitive dog that freaks out at apparently every ring tone, or notification sound. I can't win for losing...

But swoosh on DND? Not hearing it... Maybe they fixed it. *shrug*

After this last iOS update, my Air Pods are dropping in the Phone app. I can connect them and hear music from the Music app, but as soon as I switch to the Phone app, my Air Pods are dropped. I can reconnect them, but they drop again. They are charged up to at least 80%.

Oh, the damn things just dropped on their own, without being in the Phone app! They were connected for about a minute, and then *POOF* 'Not Connected'. They will become 'Connected', but then just drop. Oh, now the drop is quicker.

Annoying to say the least. GRRR...

EDIT: Even though they weren't connected, I got the tones as the iPhone turned off. Strange...

So, 'Forgot' them, turned off the iPhone. Restarted iPhone, opened Bluetooth and 'repaired' the Air Pods. 'Connected', then 'Not Connected'. So I tap them, and they 'Connected' again, and then dropped. So now I 'Connected' them again, and started the Music app. HAH!, so far I'm over 2 minutes into a song, and not dropped. This is stupidly bizarre.

So, to recap: Air Pods that connected fine before the update, now refuse to stay connected as first observed in the Phone app. They also drop when connected from the Settings Bluetooth menu, but now will stay connected in the Music app. I just exited the Music app, and they haven't dropped yet. Odd. Longest time they haven't dropped yet, outside of the Music app. Hmm, so far it hasn't dropped the Phone app Bluetooth connection. Weird... Over 2 minutes into the call, and they haven't dropped. Weird... I'm just waiting for them to drop now.

So, going into the Music app 'fixes' the connection? That just doesn't make any sense... 4 minutes in, and still connected. Hmm...

Cross-posted...

6 minutes in, and no drop yet... WTH?

iOS 13.0 until iOS 13.4 - So many updates. Only a countdown to make it even worse? iOS 13.4 is the worst 13.x version I've ever had and it's getting even worse.

AirPods are not connecting after the first try. Apple Mail is still useless because it doesn't work. Settings app keep crashing. Auto correct sucks on the keyboard. Swiping with the keyboard is useless too. Battery life was never that worse for me. iPhone always gets warm. App Store downloads are still very slow. Apps are keeping refreshing.

I am having an issue on all of my devices since updating. Books keeps asking for my Apple ID password. I can cancel and it seems to not have any issues, but I first noticed it in my iPad and thought it was a glitch so I factory reset and now it will not sync any books I bought so now I am left with reading a book I am part way through on my iPhone. Not going to read a 1400 page book on a small screen. Great timing too with the quarantine.

Thank Ford I haven't had many issues with Mail. Well, except it kept bringing up the last message read. I've had massive issues with Air Pods today. Autocorrect has gotten more brazen in correcting me, wrongly. I find it has slipped some corrections in when I wasn't looking. THe app updates on the iPhone has been bizarre. It used to update fairly consistently, and I didn't have to go to the App Store app to force updates. Well, now, I got a message on starting an app yesterday that I wasn't using the most recent version. Well, hmm. I went to the App Store app, and there were 6 apps needing updates. Not one was the app in question. Odd. closed App Store down,a nd restarted. Everything looked up to date. Hmm. So I pulled down on the App Store screen, and up popped over a dozen apps needing updates! HOW?!?!?! And that app was on the list, of course.

I had a Palm Treo 'Windows Phone' back in my earlier career as a crash test dummy for tone deaf tech companies, and had a string of failures of epic proportions. The phone itself deleted my address book at random with a crushing degree of regularity. And to top that off, once it deleted its own copy, and when I synced it, deleted the computer addressbook too!!! I couldn't get SMS to work, and Verizon gave up on it too, and email was in the same boat. Neither service ever worked. And the camera was a complete joke.

Now, lately, iOS has been slipping into the Windows Phone hell. Stuff that did work, doesn't. Core functions are failing. Mail, Bluetooth, etc...

Was Apple better in the past, or was I blind to the issues. I remember MobileMe, and not having any of the problems others complained about, and now I'm beset my the same issues, and more(?) than others are having. *sigh* It's premature to call the 'death of Apple', but things can, and have to get a lot better.

I am sorry, but it seems it more on your case specific rather common problem. 13.3.1 is the best in my case, however as I use iPad I still update to 13.4 for mouse and keyboard support. 13.4 feel slightly more battery consume than 13.3.1.
