So we can't do a normal Update via a new profile ? We have to do a full iTunes restore ?

The New profile hasn't been uploaded yet but for now it's only a ISPW for you to install and download from the Dev Center Site.

Am I the only one that gets this when trying to update and a message prompts saying my mac needs a software update to update the phone and then that :

Why can't you just shift-click the update button and point to the IPSW?

I mean't optn click the "update" button in iTunes. You have always been able to do this and point to IPSW-files.

Would certainly cut down on unauthorized use. And people who don't know what they're getting themselves into and then pester Apple support to help them when it breaks down.

Didn’t stop them before with udid so highly doubt it will now.
