Who’s thinks beta 2 will be out today or too early?

I’m going to guess that the developers and engineers have a lot of bug reports and other feedback to work on so I’m going to guess next beta will be next Monday

Today its 12.4b4 Time

That'd be nice. Starting to get that itch...

Note is completely broken. nothing is visible in both light/dark mode.
I had the same problem.. Go to settings then to assessability and to display and text and turn off increase contrast. That fixed it for me hope it works.

Easier version
  1. Open message list
  2. Use two finder to tap to edit (without releasing your finder off the screen, drag up or down or else do #3 below)
  3. Use two finder to tap and drag up or down to select multiple message
  4. Select "Read", "Delete" or "Done"
You can do this anywhere such as Notes, Mail etc.

Thanks for the alternative but seeing as how you have to keep your fingers on the screen, I don't find this easier. (For me) Same number of steps and the method I listed doesn't require you to use 2 fingers or keep them on the screen.

Just got my first notification of an app using my location (Carrot Weather). Rich notification showing map of my weekly work commute. Very nicely done. And I said "Always Allow" since I love Carrot Weather!

I‘m having trouble with Slide Over. I can‘t seem to slide it off the screen. It will just bounce back.
Previously, you could just slide an app in Slide Over off and back on the screen. Has the behavior changed or is this just buggy for me?

Alright. I’m stupid. I tried sliding it off the screen using the upper handle bar. You just have to drag on the left edge of any given Slide Over window. Problem fixed.

That is really, really unintuitive. In my mind, this is one of the biggest impediments to adoption of the iPads as productivity devices. There are all these "handles" top and bottom and the thing that gets the "window" off screen is not even marked in any way. If you didn't see the keynote or follow along here, you'd never figure that out.

File Feedback requests on this.

With all fairness, in iOS 12 or even iOS 11 (maybe iOS 10), swiping from left edge of a slide over view app to right is always the way to dismiss slide over view app. So not following iOS 13 keynote is not the major concern here. Rather, I would argue old Volume HUD is one of their biggest design flaw.

Yes, but up til now, I would say that the universe of multi-tasking iPad users was pretty small. I've had one throughout and I avoided multi-tasking like the plague because it is so difficult and unintuitive. And I am not a casual user, either and would have liked to use it.
[doublepost=1560285355][/doublepost]I heard on the iMore show (taped Friday) that the AirPods announce feature will be supported on both Gen 1 and Gen 2 AirPods. Lory Gil of iMore was very, very clear about that, saying both W1 and H1 will support (and I have reached out to her on Twitter to confirm one last time). But encouraging.

3D Touch actions being gone is confirmed to be a bug from Craig Federighi, thank god.
That still doesn't say anything about the 2019 phones. With how they've implemented the long press in iOS 13 on the non-3dTouch devices, I doubt we'll see it after the XS. RIP.

I love the snarky attitude. I have it set to homicidal, lol

Oh I know. The bug was probably related to the software in the 2019 phones, or even the iPhone XR. It would’ve been silly for them to remove 3D Touch actions just because other phones are getting rid of it.

Anyone else got this green box? It only happens on the homescreen.

iPad Pro 12.9” 3 gen

Nope. Still disabled until tomorrow. I just press and hold the Settings icon and get into WIFI from there to turn it off.
Horrible. Thank you, btw.
He technically didn’t mention you can go straight to WiFi or Bluetooth settings in control center, being able to disable it this way. I think that’s at least worth noticing, as that makes it easier to get into settings from anywhere on the device.

I tried using that syntax for a station I have in my Radio.com app and get then reply, "Sorry, I couldn't find 'WEEI-' in your music.
[doublepost=1560228402][/doublepost]

It seems as if it works better if the station's call letters spell out an actual word that you can pronounce, such as WASH or KISS.

So is it supposed to be working on all the Radio.com stations though? If so, it’s not working for most of the Boston stations, at least for me.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I upgraded my XS Max to iOS 13 and have found out from various friends that when they call my phone it goes directly to voicemail every time even when I’m standing next to them. The texts work fine though and I double checked the phones and made sure neither of us accidentally blocked one another by chance but it’s not the case. So because of this I’ll be downgrading back to 12. Sucks I really like 13 dark mode!!!
