Found a way to install it with Windows iTunes, works fine, only 1 app doesnt work, nextPlus. Face ID works fine on XSM unlike what some said on Reddit.. iTunes on Windows also recognizes iOS 13 and seems to work fine with it as well, also unlike whats said.. battery appears normal, not getting hot. Its a fine beta 1.
Can you share your windows iTunes install method without having the required Xcode on Mac? I have a developer account, but no Mac.

Everyone’s experience will be different, as others have said, do a backup before you give it a go.

I’ve found it not too bad so far, but I’m going into it expecting issues as I always do with betas. So far though my only problem has been my banking app, it keeps crashing on dark mode. Switched back to normal mode and it works fine.

I plan on installing this to test out on my iPhone XS Max. For those of you who are already running it, can you say it's stable enough to be used on your main phone?
If it was stable enough for that it wouldn't be labeled a "Preview". It's really that simple.

You might get by to some degree, but there's always a high risk of unexpected behavior, non-functioning features or apps. If not this build, the next one.

No big issues for me, so far, on the phone. Smart battery case was not recognized until a restart so the phone did not charge correctly. It all works now. One thing that was broken for me before still is now, Personal Hotspot. It has not worked for some time, over a year. I can with playing around get it connected but its a pain. I have reset network settings which was no help. Anyhow, the majority of use has been without major issue. I do expect to deal with something on beta so I was prepared.

All I know is BofA works on this beta and that’s always been a good indicator for me.

Yes I know that’s one app out of literally thousands- don’t be so literal, [person that chimes in that this really isn’t a good indicator].

Yeah, but that app was one of the problem children in the iOS 12 betas.

I’m running 13 on my XS max, iPad Pro and iPad mini (newest one). I downloaded this knowing full well the risks I was taking in doing so but I have a anothe iPhone that I could have used in the event of a total disaster. So far so good. Nothing is crashing. A few bugs here and there but the no issues with the apps I use (mostly twitter, FB and flight tracking app). Some things are faster and some aren’t. I’m noticing that safari pages load slowly on my phone but load faster on my iPad Pro.

So far, its solid and I'd recommend it. A few apps won't work and are buggy, but aside that, its nothing major like gps, phone, text messages not working.

I’d call it solid and very useable (with the occasional quirk) except for email can be very iffy- Doesn’t seem to be recognizing email as read when it was viewed on another device and I can’t seem to reliable send or receive email with attachments. Full disclosure I’m not sure it isn’t the fault of MobileIron and how it manages attachments for Enterprise users.

Well.. No major problems with apps or battery but today no one has been able to call me. But outgoing calls work.

Xs Max. Runs fine for me. So far only 2 resprings in 24 hours. Battery life not great. About 80% of what I normally get so not horrible. Odd behavior in mail where it will load a message 2 down from the one I used a gesture to go back from or when i swipe to archive.

If you remember last year one of the biggest annoyances with iOS 12 beta came late in the cycle:

iosbetapopup.jpg

So keep in mind just because it may seem okay at first doesn't mean it is, or will be that way the whole beta cycle.

That had absolutely zero effect on the stability or functionality of the beta you know..

A pop up that appears every time you use the device or open notifications affects usability, which is the main point of wanting stability. And if you tried to change the date to avoid interruption that would then reduce your functionality.

Anyway my point is, it's a beta so you always have to be prepared in case things don't go smoothly.

That was terrible! I reverted temporarily because of that!

Do Apple Pay and eSim remain on the iPhone and Watch after installing this beta.
