They changed the number badge on the home screen, I preferred the dark red, why Apple why!!!

Screenshot? I'm on b2 and it looks exactly the same as it always has.

Can’t get a screenshot. But using the volume buttons now if you have it set to adjust the ringer you get the same notification you do when turning silent mode on/off with the physical switch.

This is how it already performed on beta 1.

This a new bug in email app. I always have the bubbles turned off. Defo don’t have that many emails in there either.

So have notification bubble saying 683 emails on it. Sorry won’t let me upload screen shot says it’s too big.

It didn’t as some had a bug that it would only change the system volume. Regardless of the setting you had in the sound settings. I was one of them hence me mentioning it.

Still no ability to multitask from home screen by picking up one icon, then tapping another. Also still can't drag from spotlight (though that one is noted in the release notes)

Really? It functioned correctly for me. The only bug I had was just that the ringer pop-up would stay on screen until I locked my phone if I adjusted its volume occasionally, but I had no other issues with it.

EDIT: Actually, now that I'm on beta 2, I'm having the issue you were having on beta 1. Weird.

Mail still buggy.

In the bins section i can now hit select all and there is the option to delete all (which wasn’t present in Beta 1). However it doesn’t do anything.

I could only ever get the side volume indicator to show. So it would only ever change the system volume.

Maybe it just needs more time. I’m sure they’ll fix it, we were literally sold on perk and pop in commercials lol. If they take that away, they’re not giving us what was advertised.

Agreed, and Craig did say it would be fixed in a future beta.

I will still send feedback reports in the meantime. It really still does feel like haptic Touch on the XR with the delay, and not instant to the press like 3D Touch on every 3D Touch capable device on iOS 12

I think it’s a great feature to implement For non 3D Touch devices, but it shouldn’t be gimped on devices that have it. 3D Touch app switcher works normally, and you can really feel the difference between that and the new “haptic Touch” interaction on the icons.

At least give us back peek and pop....very useful for notifications, Safari, messages, emails....it was very useful period.

Settings > Reminders > Default List

This shows some old lists that have been deleted recently on iOS 13. They don’t show up inside the Reminders app but they’re listed there. Tapping to select a new default list also does nothing for me.

Still can't set a default calendar. I have my Google calendar configured, but the app defaults to "US Holiday".

Here. A screenshot to help your case. This is new too. I would like this animation and notification banner for standard speaker volume as well.

Seems like BETA2 have the same VPN issues as BETA1. I have VPN from NordVPN, Private Internet Access and Perfect-Privacy. Neither are working all that great using IKEv2 which is pretty much the default on iOS in 2019. NordVPN won't let you change it (it always uses IKEv2), Perfect-Privacy let you manually configure IPsec/IKEv1 if you feel like doing so but then you loose on-demand/always-on/kill-switch. Private Internet Access let me choose between OpenVPN, IKEv2 and IPsec/IKEv1 and everything seems to be working as intended with both OpenVPN and IPsec/IKEv1 but not IKEv2. I hate using OpenVPN in iOS as it drains so much extra power/battery due to it not being native in the OS.

Perfect-Privacy also works as intended on IPsec/IKEv1, but the loss of on-demand/always-on/kill-switch feature is a deal-breaker so I have to stick with Private Internet Access using IPsec/IKEv1 for now.

That IP is still legible.

Of course, it’s an unroutable IP, so probably didn’t need to obscure it in the first place, but just thought I’d point out it the attempted redaction didn’t quite get the job done.
I wasn’t sure if it was safe to leave it visible or not lol

Adam.
