For some reason after updating to beta 4 tethering stopped working for me, just says contact operator after spinning for ages.. could be because I updated whilst roaming though.

Any one noticed on max phones that their battery health life went from 100 to 94 in beta 4 release?

mine went down to 96% in beta 4.

Interesting I has my phone since day 1 it came out

Got mine on release day... battery still at 100%... running iOS 13 DP4.

Got mine at launch, still 100%

Can’t relate. Mine is already at 88% lmao but it was 88% since iOS12, so I guess mine was not affected.

Anyone test out how the optimized battery charging works with the smart battery cases? Does it only apply to the internal battery?

My XS Max was purchased about a month after launch and battery health is still at 100% after Beta 4

whoa you have to re-evaluate your charging habits. 88% for a phone thats less than a year old is not good.

Seeing in the app store I have apps that need updating but I open up the app store and no apps need to be updated.

CALLS PROBLEM.
Calls connect and/or are received, but neither party hears anything.
Happens multiple times a day and only a reboot, or sometimes going airplane mode and back solves it.
Anyone seen this? Figure out a solution.
iPhone X, Qualcomm modem, iOS 13 dev beta 4.

Anyone had this issue with the icons in the dock suddenly becoming larger? This only started happening with beta 4 on my iPad Pro 12.9

The mail app is driving me crazy. Mails cannot be deleted, previews show texts from other emails, bottom bar flickers...

All problems were reported, of course.

Got this occasionally on IPhone X. Sometimes it’s just a delay before the audio kicks in. Sometimes it never kicks in at all. Sometime the call dies after a few seconds.

Yes. I believe it has been happening to me throughout all betas, but until PB3 it was specifically invoked by tapping and holding on the icon in the dock. If I let my finger off after ~0.8 seconds, I would get the contextual menu. If I continued to hold, it would just make the icon bigger as seen in your photo.

In b4 if I tap and hold for that long it will now pull the icon out for use in Split-View.

It has nothing to do with the update. It’s completely related to usage. I have two Max from release day. One is still at 100 percent and the other at 94 percent. I use them differently and hence charge them differently.

FYI: the battery health indicator is not bulletproof. Chances are your 100% is no longer 100% and it‘ll eventually jump straight down to low 90s. Don‘t get too worked up about it, batteries degrade.

I’m in dark mode right now. As I type this on this forum my keyboard is white. I am using Brave browser. If I switch to Safari, the keyboard is black. If I switch to messages or notes or any of Apple’s apps, it’s black. If I load up Chrome, Firefox, Edge or any other browser iOS app, all the keyboards are white again. Takes you right out of the dark mode experience and makes no sense to me since when I have Fleksy keyboard installed and selected to a black theme, it overrides every other app and I’ll see a black keyboard.

I’m pretty sure Apple doesn’t allow third-party developers to ship beta functionality in pre-release software. The keyboards are probably white because iOS 13 is not officially released yet. So they can’t officially submit their apps for approval with those features enabled.

Mine is off and remains off. Yet, iPad still restarts on its own randomly.

Maybe there are not many users actually syncing photos to their iOS device. Instead, they use iCloud Photo Library, which does not have your issue.

I noticed that the camera roll folder on my iPhone XS Max is now called recents instead, although all my photos are there. Not just the recent ones...

Of course it has to do with the update. Got my xs since launch and I‘m at „92“ % now. Every ios 12 beta (12.1-12.4) showed 87%-100%. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower. Install the latest final ios version via dfu mode and you can see your real battery %.

Anyone having an issue running the beta iOS and newest WatchOS (non beta) where the walkie talkie doesn't function? I'm running the latest WatchOS with the latest iOS 13 beta and the walkie talkie doesn't work. I'm assuming this is because of the beta. Anybody?

Apple may reenable walkie talkie in next beta, since they have reenabled walkie talkie in iOS 12.4 and watchOS 5.3.

It appears that when adding Apple Pay cards to Apple Watch with watchOS 6 beta 4 from iOS 13 beta 4, depending on the bank, there is a chance that it will not send any text message or request you to make a call, but straight verify the card. Pretty neat.

I am updating for the first time to iOS 13. How is the battery life compared to 12.4? Is it worse?
