iOS 13 Beta 6 Release Notes

New Features & Changes
  • New Dark Mode direct toggle in Control Center
  • Folders are now darker and black on a black background
  • Volume up/down is back to previous 16-step adjustments
  • Mail status in the bottom bar is back
  • Screenshots have squared corners again
  • If Apple Watch is in watchOS beta 5, beta 6 is automatically downloaded to watch. No need to manually download beta 6 from Watch app.
  • “3D Touch” like “long press then slide to select menu options” is gone in iPadOS, except for apps in the dock.
New Issues
  • Cannot select from "All Photos" when setting wallpaper on iPhone
  • Dynamic Wallpaper thumbnails not showing
  • Darken Wallpaper option doesn't work

Temporarily Removed
  • Share ETA in Maps
  • Share ETA in CarPlay
  • Personal Automations in Shortcuts
  • Shared folders in iCloud Drive
Remaining Issues
  • Dynamic Wallpaper is still somewhat broken - the bubbles start disappearing and never reappear over time
  • Mail still has some issues where emails won't show up or show blank until you force-quit mail
  • Mail sync still unreliable and prone to errors
  • Home App in Control Center doesn't disappear after using a device that has 2 functions combined into one switch like a ceiling fan with light. Have to hard-reset the phone
  • When type in Safari, pressing “return” doesn’t always create a new line and first letter doesn’t always capitalise. Usually it takes two tries and capitalisation alternate between each return.
  • There is still no 3D Touch actions on share sheet, for example on music app.
  • Playlist artwork still shuffles randomly and never match the right artwork after using music app for a while. This happens mainly on iTunes synced playlist.
  • When tapping Sandbox account under Settings app, iTunes & App Store, settings app will crash.
  • It is still not possible to initiate multitasking from Spotlight or the Home Screen in iPadOS.
  • Even when not using iPad, battery drain is still very obvious. Smart Keyboard folio is attached.
Resolved Issues
  • Custom lyrics are no longer “spinning forever”. It is now displayed properly.

Thank god for this!!

My button started acting up from pressing it too many times. I couldn't just hold the button down either because it would jump to the max instantaneously causing earache or temporary hearing loss.

Sometimes I wonder what kinda people are in charge of iOS development.

Edit: I apologize for calling iOS development team morons. Sorry.

I'm not finding Messages in the Settings at all...am I just missing it?? Even searching settings doesn't find it.

Also, my settings has a "1" notification with nothing to show for it. And I had a respring going into Settings the first time.
