Some distinct cellular issues in suburban Boston on AT&T (on 5Ge) with my phone. Not sure if its the network or my phone. I don't seem to be getting all my calls. Trying to get network speed via Speedtest times out, indicating the extreme latency. Did a restart, to no avail.

EDIT: Before I finished this post, I did a Reset of the network settings. That appears to have fixed things. I figured I'd go ahead and finish this post in the event the info can be of help to anyone else.

And it happened again. Very annoying. I have 5 bars of 5Ge and no service.

i had one cellular issue after leaving the house. I didn’t realize that I was not getting any data because I would normally receive push notification from various apps along the way. Until I get to my destination, I use Safari and confirmed that I wasn’t getting any data until I restart my device.

I haven't noticed this bug of the copy paste menu people have been reporting, but i noticed a minor visual glitch with light tiled widget windows on darkmode, (the ones who are still as expected not updated to it) if you slide the mouse cursor over then it will generate image arctifacts like visual glitches, (kind like these squares on bad encoded video or dvd) wich vanishes when you scroll those cards up or down

For me this beta is absolutely horrible in every way.

- Constant Resprings
- Low Battery Life
- Ugly Balck Folders
- Apple Watch still draining
- Multiple small bugs and issues

i feel like the last beta was much better in every way. I hope they will be able to polish this before public release because the way it is right now it nowhere near ready for prime time.

For the battery drain - check the battery usage and see if an apps are running a lot in the background. For me, npr one was draining my battery even though the app wasn’t actually playing anything. Also, every beta requires indexing, but I’m sure you are already aware of this.

The folders themselves aren’t black. They simply take on more of the color of your background. Unless this is a bug (I haven’t checked this thread in a minute) try a colorful background.

Apple Watch draining is strange. If you are running the Apple Watch beta, I’d suggest going back to an official watchOS release. It works fine with iOS 13.

The resprings, well that could be numerous things. When does it occur? What app(s) are you using? Can you create steps to reproduce it?

We are all here to report and offer help. Anecdotally, this has been the smoothest beta yet, but your mileage may vary.

Here is my latest.
Screenshots in order ...
1. Main screen - Notice no unread email badge
2. Open email app - shows no unread however immediately tries to connect to email server(s). Why only on open for some accounts?
3. Automatic update fails for 1 or more accounts ; random. Manual refresh never fails
4. Result of manual refresh.

This fail to get emails only is occurring on XS Max and only randomly. IPP on PB5 has no issue.
I have verified all data and settings on XS Max.
For those accounts that don't get a fail, they show unread after I open the app

Baffled
Did you attempt to completely remove the accounts, restart, and the add them back?

This is the first beta of iOS 13 where the mail app is a disaster.

I thought the next beta would come out today and surprised it didn’t.

That would be a good suggestion if it was possible to downgrade watchOS, which it isn’t.

and I noticed that you can create .zip files in the files app. Dont know if thats new.
That's an essential feature now when zipping/unzipping is broken om macOS Catalina. When I need to unzip a file, I now head to my iPhone, unzip, and then go back to my Mac. I never thought I would come this close to replacing my Mac with an iPhone ;)

People with the Apple Watch drain, try watchOS 6. I had the drain issue on 5.2. Upgraded to watchOS beta 6 and went 53 hours unplugged and had 25% remaining. I was very impressed. Same results as 5.2 before the drain started.

I have the Series 3 42mm and an iPhone X. Has been several days now and still seeing the same results. I’m loving this.

I have no idea what caused it but overnight my phone wiped all my downloaded Apple Music songs, playlists, etc from my phone and I can't get it to show up again...

Edit: re-enabling AM doesn't help, restart doesn't help, soft reset doesn't help. Anyone has suggestions?

Edit 2: even songs I had in my library don't show up anymore as in my library (the "+" icon shows up next to the song name). On my Mac everything is normal.

Try a logout and back in from AM/iCloud ??
I can only assume you didn’t change the iCloud account

I did not change iCloud accounts, now there is a pop up on the Music app: "Your library is synchronising"
Let's see if that fixes it.

That helped not everything is like it was but at least AM is showing up again, thanks.

I've had this happen while on release software so I'd say it's an AM issues and not a beta issue.

Anyone having issues with 5Ge on AT&T with this beta? I've got a full set of bars, but I cannot connect. Checked outages in my area and no significant ones are reported. Not sure if its a tower specific issue, a beta issue or a "my phone" issue.

Been doing some testing for the past couple of days. XS Max PB5 and AW4 5.3.

If I wear my watch and keep it close, like 10-15 feet or less, my AW4 battery appears to last as it used to. At the end of that day my watch was at 63%. Means that 2 day use is back.

However ...

Today I have been doing the normal and my watch my be in another room, on my desk; in other words I am not making an attempt to keep my iPhone close to my watch. Both are wifi connected. It is now going on 8 hours and my AW4 is down to 41%. By this evening it will be close to dead. :(

Not sure the "what" yet. But it appears I have found something.

Did another day of keeping it close and apparently there is more going on here. Down to 30% by days end. :(o_O

Still looking for some type of “link” to explain the inconsistent battery usage.

With all due respect—that advice is bad. If someone decided to install watchOS beta, they should most certainly not send their watch to Apple because of battery issues due to beta software. Instead they should bite the apple and continue updating when updates are available.
