He may have been invited and still not see the option in Wallet. I was invited several days ago yet never saw the option in Wallet, but I was still able to get into the Apple Card application by tapping on 'apply now' or the wallet icon, both located near the end of the invitation email.

Sorry...he was invited per an earlier post...I missed it.

Got invite last night. Took about 3 minutes to apply and approval. Used few Apple Pay accepted store today. Seems Debt obligation is a primary fact the GS Bank is looking for, for which make sense consider the card carries absolutely no fees at all. So, if you have a lower score and low debt/income ratio, is far lesser risk for the GS Bank if you would have a higher debt/income ratio.

So that makes sense, but I guess I won't be getting it anytime soon

After I get the Apple Pay screen, it gives me the option to scan a card.
Have you tried entering from the invitation email by tapping on ‘apply now’ or the wallet icon as I suggested before?

I know. I gave up.
Before you give up, go back to the email you got and look for ‘apply now’ and/or the wallet icon near the end of the message. Tapping on one of those will launch the wallet app and take you straight to the Apple Card application.

When I click on “wallet” at the bottom of the email, this is what I get. (I am running iOS 13 beta 6) I know I read that it doesn't matter, just thought I World put that out there.

Seems like you did that from a computer. You need to open the email from your ipho

It looks to me like you may have provided an email other than your apple id when you signed up to be notified about Apple Card. If so, maybe the email you got was just a ‘waiting for your apple id’ and not the invitation. Also make sure you have the latest iOS 13 beta installed (or downgrade to iOS 12.4)

I did that on my iPhone via Mail. Once I click the wallet it opens Safari, not the wallet. I do have 2 different iCloud accounts and have tried (several times) signing in to both via Settings then trying the Wallet app. It's not there. I appreciate your feedback and help but I feel like I may have missed the opportunity on this one.

It'll be widely available very soon, so even if you "miss out" on the early adopter phase, you'll no doubt have an opportunity in the next week or so.

Which iCloud account is your Apple Pay account setup for? That is the one in which you will find the apply option. The Apple Card can only work with one account. It cannot be shared across accounts.

I never checked for the email invite. I just opened the wallet on Monday, clicked the Add (+) sign and there it was.

I have 2 different accounts. I have an iCloud ID with an aol address that is my primary, but I use my Me account for email. I signed up with my Me account. I am signed in with that account on my phone. I hope that makes sense.

I think the ID you apply under will be whichever is setup on the phone for Apple Pay

I now have the card. I was getting the same as you before with the single option to scan. Once I got the invite, that screen changed to include the option to apply.

Like others, it took about 3 minutes tops once I unfroze my credit.

I have a high credit score as well of 750, and got turned down for the same reason. I wonder what they are looking for those, I am financing a car, but other than that my credit debt is pretty low.

And here I am upset because they only approved me for $1000. I really don’t know what they are looking for, but I just refinanced my car and my credit score is around 700.

Has to be your iCloud ID.
