RE Powerbeats. I watched the Apple Insider video of the unboxing and setup and the slide up modal for pairing just had a generic AirPlay logo rather than the animation of the Powerbeats. So they do pair but iOS 13.4 will probably have the graphics to make it a slightly more polished experience.

I'm thinking most likely tomorrow morning at 10 PDT if the new beats headphones release tomorrow. Otherwise it could be Thursday or next week.
Either way, I'm guessing it's the same build as beta 5 without the logging and new feature turned on in the code.

Apple confirms in the press release that iPadOS 13.4 is coming March 24. Not sure whether they’re releasing iOS 13.4 first.

Apple will release iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 on March 24, for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users. In addition to features like redesigned Mail toolbar and iCloud folder sharing, iPadOS 13.4 brings support for trackpad to the iPad platform for the first time.

I would imagine we may get a beta today or tomorrow then most likely today!
Final beta before release!

This is from 9to5Mac. But official announcement from apple only says iPadOS on 3.24, not iOS

This is actually something I've wondered; Apple renamed "iOS" to "iPadOS" for iPads, sort of implying they were going to fork the OS, but they still haven't. So far releases have been synchronized and at the same time across platforms.

If they did release the new iOS today and iPadOS next week, this would be the first time they aren't synchronized and maybe a sign that a fork is finally happening.

Actually didn’t they release iOS 13.0 first and then iPadOS 13.1 a week later back in September?

Interesting comments from the Press Release:

  • iPadOS 13.4 with trackpad support will be available on March 24 as a free software update for all iPad Pro models, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, and iPad mini 4 and later.
  • Trackpad support will be available on any iPad running iPadOS 13.4, and work with Apple’s Magic Mouse 2, Magic Trackpad 2 and the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro. Third-party mice connected over Bluetooth or USB are also supported.
I am curious how the trackpad support will be with the Magic Mouse on a 1st Gen iPad 11".

They are not going to release iOS/ipadOS 13.4 separately. No reason to do so.

Or maybe GM instead of a beta today?
There are no GMs for point releases. Sometimes they release the last build as final, but its not a GM

That's because there's nothing to announce re iOS 13.4. Its not getting trackpad support (AFAIK), so there was no reason to mention it.

If they have more products to launch tomorrow (iPhone 9 anyone?) we won't see the final beta/GM until after that.
