This beta 5 is really good.. I
M forget that I’m on beta to be honest. I had one glitch with messages and other than that. It’s been pretty smooth.
Anyone think that now that it’s August we will start getting beta updates weekly now
 
Macos came out on Wednesday last week so maybe the week cycle will start from tomorrow or Wednesday, I hope today tho but beta 5 has been mega stable for me

Going by previous years we could expect GM at the iPhone event in September, with the official general public release some 7-10 days afterwards.
 
I would assume weekly with a release today or tomorrow. The last few x.0 releases beta 5 started the weekly releases.

iOS12 is tough to go by, there were 5 releases in a row 5 days or less each, which is why it got to Beta 12 before GM. Betas 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 were under 5 days each before a new beta.

But if there is only roughly 1 month to the event, weekly has to start now really as GM would only 4 releases away at the least; absent some shorter ones like last year.

And they wont release a beta the day before the event on Sept 9th (assuming a Monday release cycle), so they are limited in weeks left.

Throwback to iOS 12 beta 11 with that “A new iOS update is now available. Please update from the iOS 12 beta” alert every time you unlocked

I’d like to see beta 6 today, but honestly I’m having a lot more issues with Catalina. Music keeps being non-responsive even when I have plenty of available system memory.
 
We should see something today or tomorrow as they usually go to weekly around this time... However Beta 5 has been really good for me with the exception of Messages quick reply issue. hopefully Beta 6 fixes that and does not break anything else, then I'll be golden..

macOS betas are often buggier than iOS. There's a lot more going on in macOS than in iOS.
